Claire, this tape is a blessing and a curse, but extremely interesting… Because Diana genuinely depends on the interaction of the audience, a person front center with a camera on throughout her performance actually affects her show negatively. She genuinely feeds off of the eye contact of the crowd, ESPECIALLY from those who are closest to her. She was noticing (without appearing to) your taping and probably because she’s used to having some by-play with front center seated people, she couldn’t, and ultimately chose to break character and rebuke it. On the other hand, it (this tape) allowed us to view Diana from the ultimate angle, as well as see her unbelievable professionalism under adverse conditions. I’ve been studying Diana, and this tape truly amplifies her true interaction with her audiences, and she is much more talented than I realized. Cheers!
