Mary Wilson and Florence Ballard are deceased and Cindy Birdsong is suffering from dementia..........the time for a Supremes reunion is long passed and no longer possible. Plus, the cancellation of the RTL Tour was a huge embarrassment for Diane. She is not going to go near anything like that again. As for "Someday We'll Be Together," Diane is not a hypocrite...........she's not feeling it. There was bad blood between the 3 original members of The Supremes. As you know, Diane is an ego-maniacal, self-centered bitc%!

Love her forever and I know she's working so hard on this tour, but she seems to be having trouble hitting some notes dead on and breath control, but at 78 years old she gets a pass from me!
@pianoman5510002 жыл бұрын
Your comment was polite! She could barely get through any song without dropping half of the notes, speaking the words rather than singing them, having difficulty keeping in pitch and lacking the physical energy that is required to put on a great show. But she can still dazzle a crowd with her stage presence alone. Most people go to her concerts, knowing that she won't perform the way she did 10/20 yrs ago. Like you, I give her "a pass" for her performance given that her age is close to 80. I will always remember Ross the super performer of years gone by!

Maybe it's just a message to her adoring fans; it's not that hard to fathom. You are aware that it's a cover of a 1969 hit by Spiral Staircase, I take it? Everybody's covered it, I love the song.
@Kreatures1002 жыл бұрын
@@mlane8980 yes but again it’s very beneath her own hits and if she needed nostalgia she has Why Do Fools or I Hear A Symphony or Someday We. I have never heard at the concerts I have attended. And it’s the second number and sort of sits there via audience reaction. After I am Coming Out surely another of her Hits would be better.

Yes presumably she has maybe hummed a tune while in total isolation, but she hasn’t sang like this in all that time.. she is trying to get back in the groove, and condition the voice etc. why is this so hard to believe????? I promise you soon enough you will see clips here on YT with her sounding up to par, and looking up to par.
