When I see Korean nails on short natural nails (bc that’s what I’m interested in) they look so PLUMP without being overly thick, is that done with builder gel like you have done here? Or can I just do a thicker layer of base to achieve that effect?

Hi there! I'm a beginner with nails, and I was wondering if I can make press on gel x sets like these and glue them with gel base just like regular gel x? Because I glue the gel x first before painting them, but its very hard to do nail art with it already glued on. Or do I need to glue it with a different type of nail glue? Thanks in advance! 🙈

ooooh i LOVE your nail art. It’s exactly the style I love. I started doing my own gel nails a while ago. Because I don’t have alcohol inks I experimented with mixing acrylic markers like posca with alcohol to give a very similar effect. The only thing I noticed is that if that mix is to close and to thick to the free edge and you don’t cap it with topcoat correctly, it wears off muuuuuuuuuch quicker!! But other than that it’s fun to play around with.
