theres something so strange and dark and chaotic about their music that pulls me in. the storytelling, the melodies, the South American flair, god, i love it

discovered this band through a Pedro Paramo spotify playlist, wow , how did i not know about them sooner? this is right up my alley! i am OBSESSED

I always draw inspiration from music when thinking of new projects, and in my mind I always thought that this song would have to be used as an intro to a project of life-changing quality from me. I landed on a western anime style series (think like avatar: TLA as an example) and it would be set in Victorian London, where a man’s wife is murdered by a mysterious serial killer who turns out to be a vampire and he, the private detective he hired, a few of the PI’s contacts, and an aging vampire Hunter all set out on a mission to get revenge and stop the larger scheme at hand, in the end the man realizes his wife isn’t actually dead and is living on as a thrall whose undead life force is tied directly to the story’s big-bad, and getting revenge would mean basically losing her a second time. We’ll see if I have the follow-through and deft to do it its proper justice.
