As a single mom to an autistic daughter(18), I can say with certainty that we cannot just go out a get a job. One can tell from the comments, that these individuals are ignorant of the struggles of parents/guardians of special needs families. I'm in the same position where it's difficult to find a job that allows me to work the same schedule as my daughter, so I stay at home. Your children comes first. It also sounds like your property management company doesn't want to admit to either losing your rent payments or having them stolen.
