I noticed the shift from clubs to bars too. Even bars are just starting to look like they did before. The whole entertainment industry got a raw deal with the pandemic shutting them down completely for years with no money coming in. Also, after that, people didn’t really know how to socialize in a crowded public setting. These days, the nightclub vibe is just off. The crowd is all in little cliques, the staff even sometimes are rude or just dangerous. It only takes a couple of times having a bad experience at a club before people say, I’m not going to that club anymore. I haven’t even been going to festivals that much, because I’m not finding great vibes there either. At a bar, you get your regulars, and it’s easier to get to know them and the staff. I think the vibes are starting to come back. This year, I’ve been preferring outdoor music and street fairs, and then go to a bar to end the night.
