I don't know, I see an increasing number of DOs in surgery etc. I've seen them in ERs and my obgyn who delivered my kids was a DO. I think now that the residencies are merged, the lack of options is going to be a thing of the past. There was a time when DOs did mostly primary care, that's no longer the case. I also think that medicine in the US is slowly shifting towards holistic and preventative methods that a lot of Med Schools are not as open to, the best Dr. i've had who helped me with my ADD was a DO. The MDs I went to just wanted to put me on meds. There is a significant difference in approach btw md vs do when it comes to patient care in my humble opinion.

idk how I feel about this. Sometimes, social isolation is a coping mechanism from serious trauma. When you get hurt enough times, you stop trying to interact with people. That's what agoraphobia is. I haven't left my apartment except to take out trash in weeks. I feel good. I'm calm, relaxed. I even refuse to talk to my family anymore because I'm tired of feeling invalidated by their gaslighting. It's better for me to be left well alone.

I think everyone is just confused and if they felt better about themselves and had some good therapy they wouldn't feel like being a man when their a woman or vice versa. I also think alot of homosexuals do like to play the role of man or woman depending on how they relate in their romantic relationships. Just stop trying to force it down everyone's throat! I had cdiff for 8 mos and nearly didnt survive it. It was caused from Augmentin and I was misdiagnosed when given this antibiotic. Doctors need to be more educated that they are putting ppl in danger prescribing unecessary antibiotics and not even mention to take a probiotic at the same time! I was on my way for a fecal transplant, I had already been on vancomycin for 4 months and it did nothing but make it worse. Deficid and a transfusion at the sametime is what saved my life. Its a horrible disease and I pray for the ones that have it now and the ones that lost the battle. Avoid antiboitics at all costs
