For anyone wondering, if you’re checking your baby’s blood type with the Eldon Card, you don’t have to prick your baby 😮. You can pull the blood straight from the umbilical cord closest to the placenta within a few minutes of you birthing the placenta so it doesn’t clot. No pricks needed!!! 😊

May I ask where you're from? I believe this midwife team delivered my daughters 4th baby a couple of years ago. You made me cry over here...and I have 16 grandkids. You handled this birth like a complete champ and you are one hell of a strong woman.

lovely video thank you very much. I have been at hundreds of home births in the UK. Thirty years is a long to work as a midwife. There is nothing like being in an environment that feels safe. Thank you for the video loved it.

Its usually not recommended to drink castor oil especially if youre havjng a home birth! If the baby gets stressed and passes some meconium things will turn into an emergency ❤

I was 41.5 weeks pregnant with my first, had castor oil and gave birth at home 12 hours later. It was perfect !

For some reason watching your husband blow up the pool while you hang out with your pregnant belly made me tear up. Husbands are so wonderful for that stuff and wives are wonderful for going through pregnancy and birthing babies. It’s such a beautiful little team ❤

It’s so fun to me how every one is different!! When I had my first baby, the pushing stage was the BEST part of the whole labor. The pain (excluding the ring of fire at the end) completely went away while I was pushing. It was incredible! Not the same with my second, but with my third it was that way too, I got such a relief from the pain when I was pushing!

Thank you for the car video part and the tears, I totally get that!! It's a BIG change and completely changes the dynamics of the family so, i can understand how that's sad and almost like mourning the way things were/are at that moment (in not saying you were feeling like you were mourning, that's more how I'd feel) so, It's helpful to see someone be so vulnerable and honest. 3 months PP! My daughters birth went amazing! I did a labor meditation for two days, and the second day my water broke when I woke up from the 30 mins meditation!!!! A total of 8 hours from the start of my contractions, water breaking, and her arriving 😂. I’m thankful she waited for the pool to fill up, we all thought it wasn’t going to happen since once I got in, I was 10c!!!! But she gave us time and arrived 20mins after I entered the pool! 😭💘 so thankful !
