That was a good first 100 days, while you didn't earn that much money and failed to maximize all skills, you did catch all the fish which is very hard the first year. The museum is so random that it isn't something you can count on. In my first perfection run (I didn't use the wiki much) I got held by by the frigging slate until year 5 and I opened up hundreds of omni geods, the thing is common but the RNG goddess was just angry at me.😅 You can't win them all and if you stresses to much about completing a large bunch of preset goals in a certain time, you loose a lot of what makes the game so fun.

congratulations on reaching perfection without relying too much on the wiki! That's so impressive and I'd love to try a "No Wiki" perfection run one day🤣 Stardew is such a joy to play and I'm so happy I just took my time with this one. Otherwise yeah, I think I would have gotten a little too stressed! Glad you enjoyed the video!

@@madamemoonie It took a long time and I gave up on the fishing when I had 8 fishes left (that darn Octopus was the worst one) but it was very fun, at least until I only had a few things left, I had to check the wiki and after that it took me a week with some magic bait to complete it easily. I also bought that last 10 or so golden walnuts from the Joja bird, I know I missed 2 since I only played pirate dart once (it was not clear you could repeat that), no clue where the others were. So I can't say it was a complete blind run and it took me almost 6 years (completed 23rd winter year 5). My current playthrough is a lazy Joja pigfarmer who barely fish (I didn't fish at all until I realized the fish pond I had built with seaweed I found at the beach and a fish my cat gave me just wasn't giving me enough XP to get to lvl 10 and even a bunch of crab cages are too slow). Iridium truffles is a great income and I plan to buy perfection waivers from Fizz, mostly payed by truffles but some ancient fruit wine since I needed to set up the greenhouse for them to afford all the barns and pigs (not to mention auto grabbers and petters). Zero wiki checks needed for that strategy and very little work too. With 5 barns (averaging 8 pigs in each barn so far) I get about 40K a day by just picking the truffles up and chucking them in the shipping container if it isn't raining or winter. I am planning for 10 barns with 12 pigs each and once they are at full hearts, they should give me something like 150K G each day. It should be enough to cover perfection waivers for things my pig farmer don't feel like doing. I enjoy trying different things, next time I think I make a goat farmer who ages iridium cheese in the cellar, that is pretty good money too even if it isn't as good as wine or truffles. I might mix in a full barn of diamond chrystalariums or some other money scam with it to speed things up a bit. 😀

Fun fact: When I first started playing Stardew, I have no idea what the Junimo's were when I first saw them, and promptly named them 'Apple Dog Thingy'. My brother, who was showing me the game, found it hilarious.

This was so fun to watch. I love the KZbin Algorythm sometimes :) Also you can get multiple Ostriche Eggs not just the one from the secret note. You can find them in Vulcano treasure chests (very rare)

Gold quality mayonnaise also gives you the best result in the luau. There are a surprising number of options, actually. I recommend checking the wiki. My go to is, of course, cauliflower, but failing that, I'll do a golden quality sturgeon, mainly because I can't remember anything else. I think the mayo may be new to that list. Anyway, wiki is your friend. I am AMAZED at your progress. I'm struggling in my game. HOW DO YOU MAKE SO MUCH MONEY SO EARLY?!

i feel like the only person that likes the fruit bat cave better in 1.6… you get mushroom logs with the update, they’re cheap to craft, & the fruit trees are pretty inaccessible early game

I feel like this comment may seem backhanded, but i swear it's not coming from there. I loved this serie of videos, specially because I feel like it's so realistic in comparission with other youtubers who get perfection in like year two, which I find impossible. I think you're great and I would love to watch another video!

Hello When you smoke legendary fish make sure you have the angler fishing profession and artisan profession this will increase there sell price by 90 percent increase

I had the same issue getting stressed out decorating my house while time kept passing so fast lol. Not sure how u feel about modding, but my solution was to get CJB cheats and pause time while I spent real life hours decorating. I also got a mod that lets you place furniture precisely by nudging it one pixel at a time in any direction!

@@madamemoonie For sure :) some other mod recs I have in case you want to explore them are: -AutoGrab Truffles (autograbbers collect truffles that are found by pigs) -Visible Fish (lets you see fish in the water, VERY helpful for seeing where which fish are available) -Lookup Anything (like having the wiki within the game, lets you look up fish schedules, NPC favorite gifts, whether something is needed in any crafting/cooking recipes, etc.)

Yay for completing 200 days! As to the missing Queen of Sauce recipes... Concerned Ape changed how the reruns work. On Wednesdays, watch the channel, and you'll get any recipes you missed. Also, there's a bunch of recipes you get from NPCs, including Clint and Sandy. Also, Dwarf counts towards friendship goals... and I believe he at least likes every movie (taking someone to a movie they love and buying them a treat they love gives massive amounts of hearts.... check the wiki for sure.) Congrats on getting a bunch of new to you steam achievements.

You can exchange jade for staircases at the desert trader on Sundays. With a bunch of crystalariums with jade in them, you'll have more staircases than you can use You can also exchange diamonds for triple shot espresso (or buy the coffee from Gus and craft them, I think the diamonds are cheaper tho unless you have the gem profession) And, of course, rubies for spicy eels :)

Fun video! As a sidenote, that is not the optimal sprinkler layout. You only need 6 iridium sprinklers: start flush in one corner (like how you places the very first one) then you'll only need 2 on the right side frame Or, the cheapest option is to place the iridium ones as you did, then place quality sprinklers on both the right and left edges to fill those gaps. Currently you're wasting 2 iridium sprinklers (which isn't a crisis or anything, but you'll prob need them more elsewhere...)

I just hate how the placement when using 6 Iridum is off-centered in the greenhouse crop field.🫠Drives me nuts. I know I can also get by with 4 iridium & 8 quality sprinklers (just didn’t know it at the time).

32:45 Lava Eel Fish Ponds are the most profitable ponds. The roe sells for over 1500 G with artisan and the pond turns red as you complete its quests. It’s cool, profitable, and you get multiple roe per day so it’s an easy money maker.

@@madamemooniethey are actually so helpful! They have a chance to produce spicy eel, and when they reproduce to the max of 10 eels in the pond, you can fish 1 or 2 out and smoke them to sell

Another, a little unknown buff to Riverland farm - if you build bonus Cottages they will have a Fish Smoker each!!! And yes, this does include the Cottages you can have pre-build while creating the game 😳 Edit: how much you earn at the end of a season is really dependant on your skill and playstyle. I recently started playing on Riverland farm and by the end of Spring I had bought the Greenhouse, the Bus and Minecarts at Joja (don't hate plz - I have never played this route and wanted to give it a shot). On top of that I had built a Barn and 4 Cows. And I didn't neglect other skills as when I finished Spring I had not only lvl 10 in Fishing but also 5-6 in other skills (pushed hard for unlocking Quality Sprinklers before Summer). I have also gathered enough cash to buy 145 Starfruit seeds and 145 Quality Speed Gro (along with other seeds but in smaller quantities in case someone would ask for them).

How much time did you spend mining? If you're buying coal (150g), then the unsmoked fish needs to sell for at least 150g just to break even. I do like the smoker, but I usually wait till I have a few dozen coal stockpiled (on top of smelting some bars for tool upgrades) before I start in on it. Then I'll smoke anything that sells for at least 100g unsmoked.

I noticed you talking about having to bring ingredients to crafting stations - you don't have to do that, the game has a global inventory for crafting so crafting stations pull from the chests in your house!

Oh man. Honestly, I know you don't like the fishing minigame, but I think I like it enough to actually be a fisherman for once! I'm not sure how to feel about the mines (I didn't get to play that part of the segment during the demo) I've roughly seen some gameplay of it, and I'm scared it won't be my type of thing. A LITTTTLE intimidated by how hard money is going to accumulate. I feel like there's some things I like, there's some things I also don't like after seeing some things, but I think I can work with it for the challenge :0 Thank you for sharing your inputs. I think it kind of convince me to wait a bit longer since this is still an Early Access.
