Can I use another kind of yarn? Acrylic or cotton?
@SimplyMadebyErin15 күн бұрын
Yes, cotton would be a great choice, just make sure you double or triple it, if its worsted weight.

Thank you for the tutorial. You made it very easy to follow the pattern. I made one now, I didn’t have the yarn size so I used 5 strands of size 4. It came out nice enough for my first try. ❤

Love this little pumpkin! I was wondering how many more rows to add per extra chain at the beginning to make a little bigger pumpkin? If I wanted to do a pumpkin that has 15 chains instead of 9, how many more rows should I do for the width? Thank you for sharing this cute pattern!
@SimplyMadebyErin23 күн бұрын
@@mikimika8 thank you! You can add as many as you want, just make sure to end with an odd number of rows. If you’re doing 15 chains, I’d say add about 6 more rows, but it’s up to you!

Loved your video. Is the start that you do similar to a magic ring. Also if you are using one skein of the Bernat, about how many will it make. Thank you in advance.
@SimplyMadebyErin27 күн бұрын
Thank you, and the start isn't a magic ring, but I can see how it looks similar! One skein should make about 10-12.

Can i ask how do u count the rows? Im confused!
@SimplyMadebyErinАй бұрын
Each row has 8 stitches, then you turn to start a new row, for a total of 21 rows. The written instructions show more detail regarding stitch count. simplymadebyerin.com/2023/09/28/mini-ribbed-pumpkins-free-crochet-pattern/

Hi, I’m trying to make pot hot pads with the lazy days, but the circles keep curling up, any recommendations how to minimize I’m only doing five rows of double crochets, basic increase each round
@SimplyMadebyErinАй бұрын
Hi there, you could try going up a hook size, increase the beginning number of dc, etc. Also, this yarn is made from polyester, so it can melt with heat exposure and may not be the best for a hot pad.
