Sounds to me like either a loose wire or a wire has a cut in the insulation which is contacting the neck somewhere. I would unplug your connections and reconnect them first. If the problem continues you may have to remove the wires from the neck

As others have commented, A great video demonstration, very well presented, including torque specs! to the point, no BS, tips, color loctite,.... (I didn't know about the color difference). Thanks, I learned a lot today! the only thing I need to figure out is which red dot fits my application. Update: I just watched your Holosun HS507c video and will consider that, thanks again. I like their green dot option. A friend suggested the Romeo-X. More to look into.

I just got my ADE advanced optic in the mail today after waiting through two delays being sent the wrong one the first time and they sent me the wrong goddamn one again. I swear these people are clowns The amount doesn't fit and the optic doesn't even sit down in there where it shows too long. It's possible I'm doing something wrong but I don't think so.

Bro, a brand new motor wheel would cost only a couple hundred, your time and tool purchase is way more worth than that

I had the bearings and tool in just a couple days. I would have had to do work for a new motor too which was a couple hundred, plus shipping, and over a month wait. Hey man....This is a really good video....easy to follow, right to the point, I changed out mine (The metal side post piece where you put the wrench was so worn down as it was the factory original on an old truck and couldn't get a wrench to grab anymore so it wouldn't tighten, I almost thought I would have to replace the whole wire but instead was able to swap the old part with a brand new one without having to replace the whole wire assembly....Much faster and easier to change the metal sidepost than to replace the whole cable! Only took a couple minutes and now I can put a wrench on it and tighten it down all for the price of the part and literally probably took me less than 3 minutes to do the swap and hook up the battery! You mentioned you are going to be looking into finding the source of a drain, I'm having a drain issue myself, the truck is older and usually I just keep the battery disconnected when I'm not driving it so your other video you mentioned sounds like that might be helpful as well....This was a great video, told and showed what to do, stayed right on point, helpful...A lot of similar videos they drag it on and on with a bunch of talking like they are just doing videos for attention like they are some comedian looking for stardom or something....I like videos that tell, show what to do without a bunch of filler stuff.

The optic plate is raised 3/8”, yes. However, a milled slide would sit the optic significantly lower. Depending on milling that is roughly 1/2”-3/4”.

I watched yours and a couple of others, None are really installed correctly ..The part of your video where the spring is in place and the left end is curled out towards you is where the pointed end of the shifter goes and when you apply pressure inwards that will lock everything together without popping inside of the column. After losing 2 springs your way I did what the factory should have done, I drilled a 5\8 hole 2 in, below the shifter slot. with a rare earth magnet I went to the bottom of the column and slid the 2 springs that went in the other hole where the cardboard was used, now with the bottom hole drilled the screwdriver can curl the spring so the lever is nice and snug..I put. a rubber flat plug cover looks factory.. The spring install now takes 8-10 minutes with the column in the ca.. Thought I would share....
