The reason that it's your top 10 (or any one else's) is the interesting thing. Ppl are different and that's exactly why I watch these, I might get my eyes opened up to a game that was not on my radar before. If you feel that your Top 10 would overlap with everyone and their brother's list then it would be more interesting if you could highlight other games that have caught your eye but you feel few/no one are talking about.

Oh, I adore this game. Shame it never got a retail release. I was one of the few to back this one, though. This one should be known and played more.

I remember there was a time maybe 15 years ago when everyone in my locality, like everyone was playing Warmachine (and to a lesser extent Hordes) and 40k and fantasy had disappeared into the background. It had tournaments here in the UK, every FLGS had its stuff, most gamers knew about it and were excited for what was coming...then it just kinda went away. Now, its practically unheard of.

I'd like to hear what games you think will be good in each category. What's probably the top two or three dungeon crawls? What are the top adventure? Top card games. That kind of thing.

If there were 3 or 4 people you like to play games with and you were going to meet them at Gen Con, what games would you want to play?

The best 3 games in your opinion, I kinda like that idea.

I like hidden gem top 10s/5s. Anything that might cover or show games that other content makers might not focus on.

How about top 5 games and top worst games

I’m in Ireland and so no large scale cons here. I think you can do a compilation with everything that you have said, which will balance out in terms of a sort of pros and cons list. So if you were to look at GenCon this year and say the top three games that you would be heading straight for if you were going , the way you would go about getting there… food stands you might visit all of that stuff and then on the flipside: three games that other people seem to be hyped for but you wouldn’t actually go look at if you were there and maybe some of your advice to make it less of a hassle to go. The balance has obviously tipped for you and you choose not to go now.

How about your top 10 games and top places to eat at?? Keep it positive and centered on games Rob, imho.

I’ve loved every game Cole Wehrle has made and Arcs might be my favorite. Need to play it some more but it’s up there.

If you’re looking for a heavy rules driven game, this is the one to get. The theme is awesome and the mechanics are really cool, but you need to get over the hump of learning the game. I feel it’s worth it I will say the Kickstarter was a nightmare.

I backed the Kickstarter Collector's Edition. It also had a Dice Tower which is kind of cool.

Rob, appreciate you covering this. I had forgotten about SDE. I try to keep $400 loss out of mind, but happy to hear that Ninja Division is no more. John Cadice is a very crooked individual. He charged the backers shipping for games that didn’t exist. He didn’t pay the artists what they are owed. The backers contacted the Attorney General, Post Master, BBB, FTC, FBI and IRS years ago. Looks like his dealings finally caught up with him..

ARRRGGGG youtube has done me dirty. I have not been on you tube for just watching vids for a bit and the evil algorithm did not tell me you have been doing vids.. so mad at it right now have to go back and watch a whole bunch of them now.. while I paint my minis...and thump that like button so it know how disappointed I am with it.. I've said it before and I'll say it again. Steamforged buying Warmachine is like the city of Atlantis buying the Titanic.

What drove me away was the bloat and they moved away from what made it unique. It went from a jack game to a troop game.

Kickstarters can go bust. I would rather get something instead of nothing. Thats how i justify it too myself, it sucks sure. But running out of money and getting nothing is worse.
