It's certainly one of their most tuneless bits of songwriting (despite strong lyrics). So when you say it's one-of-their-best, I'm guessing you don't dig melody very much right?

The best live band I've ever seen ( 8 times in all) and this is one of their finest songs, probably written when Paul was about 21 years old. Just like The Beatles , bands like this come around once in a lifetime.

Honestly, Paul doesn't have the energy anymore for a one-off at RAH. Like the Cream. Bruce & Rick have it but Paul, too many Ciggs and alcohol.

I was just reminded of this terrific upload. I needed to hear something that seared. Ears are now burnt to a glorious crisp. The Jam never let me down. I am 57 and they have always, will always be, my favorite band ever. Thanks La Guerra Contra El Silencio for this!

Llevo años amando esta canción y en particular viendo este video con su traducción... Más de una década después de haber sido subido este video y verlo desde los últimos diez años, he de agradecerte porque aquí siempre vengo cuando estoy nostálgico.
