Freedom, But one suggestion don't settle near your hometown etc..First few years its fun you have money people expect you to give gifts , as you are a NRI when your income declines but people will call u for weddings, funeral, housewarmings etc... After few years you may not able to enjoy the giving aspect as your expenses increase but the expectations as more about you., even political parties asking for donations then people start calling you cheap( pizhukkan) stop ignoring or have attitude towards you.

In the cities like Calgary and Edmonton it’s but tough because market is oversupplied due to ease in the licensing rules. CRNA has issued more than 8000 new licenses to , mostly IENs in the past year alone . You will find jobs in the rural communities and it’s even getting harder day by day.

1st trick- dont park car in garage. Use it as a gym and theatre 2nd- buy property asap, keep it alap. Enjoy the beauty of compounding growth.

We have been using garage as gym and kids play area till last winter. Since new baby came last year , we have decided to use half of the garage for one car just to keep it warm in case to take baby out in the morning for any reason etc . Other half is still gym ( mostly for spider nets and recycling bottles unfortunately lol 😂)

I understand. I see that a lot especially in cities like edmonton and Calgary. Unfortunately many employers have stopped hiring new nurses without experience. But don't worry this influx will level out in 1-2 years and things will go back to olden days ( not fully ). Still ,if you are willing to relocate to rural, there are plenty of jobs though.
