This was a great video with lots of good info for someone like me who stumbled onto the topic with zero knowledge that THJ even existed. I started playing EQ right before Kunark was to launch. My friends and I still talk about our adventures. Recently, one of those same friends has been messing around with Pantheon and saying how it reminded him of EQ and I’d been looking into that. The magic of the YT algorithm brought me here to this video. That this server exists and has so many interesting updates, additions, etc., is amazing and I’m going to check it out. I’ll definitely share it with the guys! Especially the multi class and spawn / zone stuff. Who wants to stare at a moldy wall and camp Guk for days?! Ugh, we were no lifers for sure. Besides 2 weapons, what else would you put on a pet? For example, what would someone put on a charmed pet?

Server progression is definitely annoying. I leveled up a Paladin/Druid/Chanter and struggled thru late 40s because there is no good xp area's in classic above 45. Finally reached 50 and couldn't get to Vox or Naggy. I grinded some AA's, but AAXP is slow in classic zones. Finally just bought some of the quest drops and got lucky on others to get my Kunark flag. Now in Kunark working to 60, but struggling a bit even here. AAXP is again very slow in Sebilis and Chardok. No one groups and maybe my build sucks. I don't know. I definitely struggle with the large number of mobs in each pull. I can burn thru AA's I currently have, but it's frustrating seeing AAXP grind so slow. Eventually I will grind to 60 and get enough AA to kill Vox and Naggy, but not looking forward to killing those dragons in Kunark for Velious flag. Progression is not fun on this server. I do love the multi classing though! This server is still awesome. Not trashing it. Just frustrated with progression.

I am thinking about more first character budget friendly thats why i looked , had feeling mostly meta builds would not be budget friendly.😂

Hello The patcher was awful for me I am ENC/CLR/WIZ, not really a pet class. I used to rely on Doppleganger but they have been nerfed. Now I am mai l'y a healer for my friends. Maybe I don t understand something... I m far away from the best combo and on a server where everything can be played in instance I don t understand Thx for the video

Great video! I don't understand the mechanic of for a few eom you can unlock the ability to teleport directly to "any open dynamic zone" I have spent the eom to unlock this feature - but how do I access it? Do I have to speak to use an npc? Is it through Tearel or some other? Thanks!

Ive been playing about a week and WOW has it been a blast. As a old school everquest player I came back time and time again to Live servers. After a bit just got tired of the multi boxing was very frustrating. Now I can run 3 toons ate once with no screen switching. And omg is it a blast!! I started off with bst/mage/nec because I have always been a pet class player. With out even looking anything up just from my little knowledge of my time with EQ. Just a blast love the unlocking expansions and what ever else I figure out about this server!! Also love your content I ran into your beginners guide how I found out about this server keep it up!

I start in Tower at 20. First floor is great for 20-25. I go to 3rd floor getting to 35 and then bail and head to Velks entrance.

Whoa baby, this video took so much longer than i expected!! Yikers! This was almost a Hollywood Cinema length video at 1 hour 40 minutes. Question: for the Rogue you mention that you can use 2 poisons - I am level 10, trying out the build - I bought two Bites of the Shissar level 1 - and I drink one, but I cannot get the second one to go into the ammo slot. I've tried left clicking, right clicking, double clicking... Thoughts?

OMG... You totally sold me on trying out this server. I'm downloading the client now. The concept of having 3 classes in one (instead of boxing 3 toons) sounds like so far out to me... can this be? sucks that this game's pop is fragmented among various emu servers. The best which has like 500-700 players. The game is completely different with 3000 per server it originally had... Every zone would be populated and thriving with people increasing the sense of adventure and social gameplay.

I just made a mag/enc/nec. I'm having fun with the ability to charm and enc buff :-).
