This was a great video with lots of good info for someone like me who stumbled onto the topic with zero knowledge that THJ even existed. I started playing EQ right before Kunark was to launch. My friends and I still talk about our adventures. Recently, one of those same friends has been messing around with Pantheon and saying how it reminded him of EQ and I’d been looking into that. The magic of the YT algorithm brought me here to this video. That this server exists and has so many interesting updates, additions, etc., is amazing and I’m going to check it out. I’ll definitely share it with the guys! Especially the multi class and spawn / zone stuff. Who wants to stare at a moldy wall and camp Guk for days?! Ugh, we were no lifers for sure. Anyway, I’ve rambled a long time, as old guys tend to do. So thanks again and I’ll see you around! Subbed.

Really helpful! Been playing for a few days and just reading all the tooltips and help windows and trying to figure things out. Definitely learned a few things from the vid - like if you pick all your classes before handing in the tome you get gear for all the classes. I also totally missed the little buy button in the bazaar interface and was just running around trying to find the trader listed to buy the items directly off of them. A couple real facepalm moments. Great stuff and looking forward to more!

Great video!! I'm sure it's too late, but I'd love to see a 'Kunark prep' type video. Was grinding AA in Hate and our group was taking about their plans for Kunark, and i realized I have no idea what I'm going to do... probably hit up seb and wrap up my epic. There was talk of where to farm AA at 60, but I realized I don't really know many good items to farm. Anyhow, great video, excited to see more.

Oh yeah, I mean I could point at the different targets that are out there for people to kinda focus on. Good camps to look at.. With the DZs it shouldnt matter if everyone is farming the same stuff. Solid feedback man, thanks!

Wow! GREAT video! Liked and subscribed! and looking forward to future video's! I have been hoping that someone would make a beginner series for this server. It's been over 20 years since I have played Everquest - and there's a lot to relearn. I would like to see some idea's for class combinations, highlight video's for each class - like class defining (or must have AA's) - ie: Cleric Divine Avatar / Battle Frenzy (I have never played Cleric), a guide on how to use the map. When I do a search on KZbin for class guides, etc... there's not much for returning players (imo). Like how does Bloodlust work? How do I make it better, how do I make a build centered around it... Anyways good luck with the channel - looking forward to more!

A good combination I was thinking about was Ranger / Magician / Beastlord. Two pets, the proc AA, pet procs, nice all around. I'm probably going to run Ranger / Beastlord / Rogue myself.

@15:15 For spider bite you said if you put it in your ranged slot it would proc... wouldn't you need your bow in the ranged slot? Thanks for the video!

So 100% if you are a Ranger or a Berserker using ranged axes you will have to just click the potions and they will time out.. If you click one potion and put the same version of the potion into your ammo slot, the poison will never wear out.

@@davidtrame8280 Yea when I entered blackburrow dz I talked about it and then ended up cutting that from the video for time lol. Next time I have a better way of recording so I can build it up in sections rather than recording the whole thing and cutting out chunks.

Other topics that might be good would be AAs highlights for classes, the progression process flag turn ins and all that for each xpac, item combine (and other misc AAs), respawn times, and bazaar setup (selling) for new folks.

OMG... You totally sold me on trying out this server. I'm downloading the client now. The concept of having 3 classes in one (instead of boxing 3 toons) sounds like so far out to me... can this be? I always do mixing bowls for bags, they weigh less and carry same

Mixing bowls are a great option but differ on so many servers because they get adjusted all the dang time lol.. Some servers they are only 8 slots, some servers they are only large containers. Good option though for sure!

sucks that this game's pop is fragmented among various emu servers. The best which has like 500-700 players. The game is completely different with 3000 per server it originally had... Every zone would be populated and thriving with people increasing the sense of adventure and social gameplay.
