I love the fact that you obviously didn't pre-dissamble the unit. You let us all see the little hiccups you ran into, in particular that rotating dust cover between the hinges. Did you actually get that reinstalled correctly? it didn't look quite right. Anyway thanks for your time, one of the best disassembly videos I've seen.

Yypu can buy any ssd , But I advise you to use well-known brands like msi , teamgroup , kingstorm, Samsung etc ..

Hello i need help with something: are the rm1-1082/rm1-1083 fusers compatible with the laserjet 4200 (220v)? I bought a used one that has 13.20 error on it and i checked every sensor and used different toner cartridges. So i think it might be the fuser because it is not an rm1-0013

Great video...what happens when you turn on the laptop? Will it automatically recognize the drive? Can you immediately begin using it or does it need to be configured in some way?

If the drive is new you have to create a partition and format it. Click the Start button or the Search box near it and type Create partition. Open the utility and right click on the new drive, create a partition from that empty space and format it.

It's a grease specialy design for fusing film. It comes in the fusing film package or you can buy it separately. Search for fusing film grease, and don't buy the cheap ones.

some of thinkbook 15 g2 laptop doesn't have 2 .5' sata ssd slot but has second m.2 slot if you want sata ssd slot, move battery to right and buy sata cable 1.move battery 2.buy sata cable 3.fix with duct tape

Yes, it's a good practice to disconnect the battery, but for RAM and SSD I never do that. There are low voltages there (1.2V and 5V) and you can't really burn anything unless you touch something else on the main power rail with a metal tool. But yes, it's a good practice to disconnect the battery.

Of course, if you install Windows on it. But I don't see why you would do that. The M.2 which came with the laptop is faster. You install this one on SATA for extra storage capacity.

You can refill whenever you want, just be careful not to put too much ink, because it will flow from the bottom. Stop when you see the sponge filled.
