Very important: when replacing a laptop display remove the battery, because you have voltage on de LCD connector even if the laptop is off, and you can burn the LCD port very easily

As much as it looks easy to do, I still would give this job to professionals like you. I ain't doing it myself because that LCD is really expensive to buy.

Thanks from Japan. I will have to do this soon. Black band across bottom of screen, about 3 centimeters deep, with a pink and green line separating the black band and the working area of the screen, just for reference in case it helps anyone.

If I remember correctly it had no image on the display, but it worked on HDMI. Still, this was over one year ago and I'm not sure...

Screen is flicking because fright cables i think. Is it possible to just replace the cables of the screen😮?

Do you mean the LVDS cable? The one between the screen and the motherboard? Of course you can replace only the cable.
