Fidelity just added this benefit to their rewards card. Last year, they added no foriegn transaction fee.

I was wondering if you have any videos on the channel about getting out of debt particularly with credit cards I noticed in this video you mentioned that you were in the position at one time, and I love how you’ve completely turned it around. I would love to learn how you did it, or the system you used. I only wish I had found your channel prior to getting into the credit card debt, however I’m excited to get it cleared and use credit cards to work for me just like you teach! Boston Chase Sapphire Lounge one visit per year with C1VX Priority Pass. $75 per person per visit after your first visit. I read that you can no longer bring in friends to the Priority Pass lounges.

I've found that half the time I go to a Plaza Premium lounge outside of the USA, most have no clue why I handed them my Venture X card and argue with me that it's used to get into the lounge and I just end up using my Priority Pass card instead. This happened to me twice in a recent trip to Canada.

Man im at a point in my journey where im overwhelmed and just put everything on my VX, travel a few times a year and just erase everything with the eraser tool. 1.10 CPP (double dipping strategy) is easy consistent value and requires no thought. I may work on chase one day but im just so used to the C1 portal unless they nerf the VX im just here for a while.

I don't know about this card. 1 night hotel room is 65,000 points. I don't see how that is a good deal. It is a $200/night hotel max not $650!

I'm not sure which account(s) you need to have in order to see the score. What I can say is that I have SoFi Checking + Savings accounts and I do see my credit score in the app on the Home tab.

I currently hold a Capital 1 venture card and it is a world elite mastercard...no one ever tells u that u have ADDITIONAL benefits thru the world elite master card program. I did find a video that mentions the hotel benefits. Apparently Mastercard has their own "fancy" hotel collection, which is a benefit of the world elite mastercard. The Peacock benefit is for real. I get a $3 discount for having my peacock subscription on a world elite mastercard. It appears as a statement credit each month. About a 37% discount!

I was asked either the physical or digital priority pass card when I tried to enter the VIP ONE lounge in JFK and PP lounge at St Jose. I gave them my VX but in both cases they demanded the PP card. And in that VIP one case, they said I can’t bring guests so I had to download digital PP pass for my parents. Are there some misunderstanding going on with the agents? If I have a long connection, am I able to enter the lounge more than three hours prior?

It can be frustrating when policies are not yet fully rolled out across all lounges. Using the Venture X card itself to get in was announced some time ago, but I can't say how widespread it is. I always bring my Priority Pass card with me. Regarding guests, I can't speak to that. Each individual lounge can put their own restrictions in place when needed. Mark - my understanding of the VX business card is that while you can have AU's for free, they do NOT get lounge access, unlike the personal. Also, I was under the impression that the business kept the restaurants, while the personal lost that perk. Has this changed? Am I wrong and both business and personal are entirely the same?

By 'AU's not getting lounge access', I meant on their own - if they are with the cardholder, yes they can access the lounge....

As I write this, my limited understanding is that AUs on the C1VX Biz Card do not get their own Priority Pass membership. I'm not sure if they can access the Capital One Lounge or Plaza Premium Lounge networks. Haven't found any blogs with info on this either. Might have to ask Capital One directly.

@@MarkReese So, to put a pin on this, I checked with C1 and Priority pass. VX Biz AU's do NOT have lounge access of any kind other than if they are accompanying the primary cardholder, which is slightly different from your graphic in the video. And apparently, NEITHER card allows for restaurant access. Thanks so much for all of the info!

I'd say the Chase Trifecta is worth having if you want the best 'hybrid' setup that works well for travel and cash back. Chase has the best overall program in my opinion. If you prefer cash back rewards, I'd go with Citi. If you prefer advanced travel (i.e. the transfer partner game) and can make sense of more complicated benefits, then that's where Amex would come in.

The C1 lounge at DFW looked really nice. Thanks for the tour. It wasn’t very crowded, unlike other well known lounges. Were you there at an off peak time?

I was there somewhere between 10:20 - 11:30 AM. "Crowded" lounges aren't necessarily crowded at all hours.

It may still be unlimited; the terms only mention 'guests.' That said, individual Priority Pass lounges may enforce a limit based on capacity constraints and whether or not the lounge contracts with specific airlines to take in premium cabin passengers. 2 guests should be guaranteed though.

For cash back, Citi wins in a big way. For travel, they're both great. Citi may allow you to earn faster with 3 cards, but the setup has fewer benefits (e.g., no lounge access).
