Alex Lifeson could form a super group with him on lead guitar, JPJ on bass, Rik Emmett on vocals and guitars, and Alex Van Halen on drums. I would love to see that. Robert Plant on lead vocals would be amazing as well.

I don't understand hating on Creed. Just listened through Human Clay(my favorite from childhood, very nostalgic for me) again for the first time in probably 15-20 years. I always loved it, but back then I didn't realize how heavy it actually was. I just thought it was rock, but looking back it's pretty metal. No wonder my musical preference is on the heavier side. Anyway, Creed is great. End of tangent.

There’s only a handful of guitar legends from that era that as soon as you hear their tone, you know exactly who it is. George was one of the few. He had the style and tone all his own.

Nice excuse to let others arrange things for which you have given your word. Dio is unacceptable. He was not a little kid hiding behind his mother's dresses. He showed a complete lack of integrity, which is a shame because I thought he was more honest.

I've seen Alter bridge in quebec city and because of weather and a metallica show the same day they rescedule the show we ended up less than 200 people all in front of the stage. They gave us the same big show as a big venue. It was the best show i've ever seen and will never forget!

Creed went pop after their first record. That's why they get hate. Songs like 'With Arms Wide Open' are easy targets. They still had some bangers on their later records like What If, Bullets, Overcome, etc.

There's a guy Chris Webber who I believe was Hollywood Rose's original lead guitarist not Slash. Webber is on the Hollywood Rose demo tape that had an early version of Anything Goes and at least 2 other songs.

Sad how Mark continues to not prioritise Creed, talks of them like a side project. Never answers why they won't play Europe. Never answers about new music. Yet he will make new music non stop with AB and Tremonti and travel the world. Cmon Mark show Creed some love please

That's not only on him. Remember there were issues that split them up in the first place. Tensions were there for years. They seems great now but, there may still be some underlying things that we dont know about.

He did the tour man, give him some slack. As per the new music, they might be surprising us with a new cd, so he cant say. Regardless, he has answered on it MANY times already. His solo album comes out January and he is doing a tour then. After that, AB goes into the studio in the Spring to record their next album that will be released in October. He's busy.

Mark once said that the origins of the first Creed reunions failure was that Stapp wanted to tour on what was due to be an AB year. Mark said no, and issues grew. The 2nd Creed reunion was originally planned for late 2020 once AB had wrapped the Walk the Sky touring cycle, which obviously didn’t happen. Mark has always been really strict on the fact that AB and Tremonti stick to a three year cycle between records and tours, that nothing disrupts that, and every project gets due attention. I personally applaud him for that commitment. I’m sure once the next AB album cycle is complete Creed will slot right in and there will be a new record and more extensive tour for those folks who want that.

I get that the AB fans here will dislike this comment and justify why he prioritises his other bands but the facts are he has done this multiple times before and fears bringing creed to Europe as in his eyes this is AB territory. In my opinion if he prefers his other projects he should just end creed and I'm saying this as a huge Creed fan. Just let scott do his solo thing and mark can go back to his other bands. It's only going to cause creed fans to be annoyed

@coldmoonlight6361

@@metalman3432 Although I'm not opposed to it, their sound is pretty established without them at this point. Mark gets some grit in his voice at times, but I'm not sure they plan on going any harder than that. Great music either way, I'm okay with it how it is. I enjoy harsh vocals, but Tremonti is a good middle ground to getting people used to heavier music. Harsh vocals are usually the part that turns normies off to metal after all.
@metalman3432
@metalman3432 3 күн бұрын
@coldmoonlight6361 Yes they would have great music either way. I do think you're right. While they might gain some new fans with the addition of harsh vocals, some of the old fans might not like that. I guess it would be the same as Metallica suddenly having harsh vocals after all these years- unexpected and people would be in shock. That's ok because Tremonti is heavy with just the clean vocals anyway.

Alex is undoubtedly among the greatest. As a master musician, he effortlessly showcases an incredible range of styles during live performances, not just in an album. Rush wouldn’t be Rush without Alex, just as it wouldn’t be the same without Neil and Geddy. They are an extraordinary band that enriched our lives with their artistry, music and lyrics. I will be forever grateful to them.
