Such a great car! This video does not do the colour justice though. I will need to do a new video for the Evo. My one is a GSR 5 Speed manual too.

I’m curious to see how you go with the shower. We have the same nugget and roof top tent. We have the 180° awning though so I’m wondering where to put a shower tent but that idea you have looks really good. Hopefully you’ll post another video to see how you get on. Cheers Paul.
@scottdennis86Ай бұрын
Cheers Paul, I’ll definitely do another video on how it goes. It’s certainly an improvement on the other shower tent options. The only thing is the stone guard touches the back of the tent slightly when it’s fully open but still plenty of space inside. I’ve got a wooden duck board from bunnings also to stand on so you aren’t standing in a puddle of wet dirt/sand. I’ve got a trip to Fraser coming up in the new year so definitely have it out for that.
@pcskipАй бұрын
@ I look forward to seeing that one Scott. I don’t think I’ll be bothered about the stone guard as long as you don’t go head-butt it! LOL😂 I will be interested to see how you connect up the gas heater etc. Hot and cold water outlets are at the back of the nugget.
@scottdennis86Ай бұрын
Yeah they are but there is a water outlet on the draw bar too! So I’ll use that for showers
@pcskipАй бұрын
@ yeah true that’s a good idea good for cold showers and summer use which I suppose is when I’d be using the shower more. Not sure how that would go in the winter though when we go more on the south coast gets pretty cold there at that time of year we are in W.A.
@scottdennis86Ай бұрын
I’ll be connecting my companion hot water system to the water outlet on the drawbar, then use its shower head for warm showering. Sorry, I don’t think I explained that very well. I have also made up hoses to connect to the rear (cold out of the trailer, into the hot water system then back into the hot inlet on the trailer)

how much is the PPF?
@scottdennis862 ай бұрын
@@井姜 hi mate, it really does depend on the shop, film, extras etc but if you budget between $7-10k you should be in the ball park. I had the car fully tinted, full ceramic coating and the wheels coated all at the same time. The PPF has already saved a tail light.

@@kevinmajor3975 no worries mate! I personally didn’t see the need for LWB and now with the CAT side indicator I’m definitely glad I got the SWB as they don’t need them. I also plan to do 4wding trips so the LWB would have potentially made that harder again. GVM was done by SCD in Brendale QLD. I only had a quick test drive prior to buying so not enough to comment on ride quality change but like all utes without load in the back can be a little stiff. Nothing super uncomfortable though. Tow’s great and super comfortable

Hey mate Great video. Only suggestion is placing the outside camera on the tailgate next time so you don’t get the wind noise as much. How do you find the new exhaust? I think I like the idea of keeping mine stock as it is quiet
@scottdennis866 ай бұрын
Thanks mate! Being side exit I wanted to try get the exhaust tip in the shot, only realizing later the wind noise was a bit of an issue. I think it offers a great note at idle without being too loud and almost OEM quiet at cruise.

I went up from Cloncurry, through Gregory River then on to Lawn Hill (Adels Grove is near by) then I left out through Riversleigh down to Mt Isa
