Great video, I was just fixing the same thing on my pocket bike, I hadn't run it since last fall so the gas was old, it should fire right up after cleaing the carb, the float was stuck shut.

I've got a mini quod and a pocket bike not sure where to start I normally fix big bikes lol I need to check if we got fuel and spark first

Another thing I found on those after market and even stock reed intake is to get all excess flash off of reed seet and make sure the Reed's are sitting flat against the seet. The one I ordered had a bump in the center and the Reed's weren't closing properly also adjusting your reed as far up and the reed holder down as much as you can will give you more flow when open and more seal when closed which is more crucial than being open. I fine tuned my son's and I could tell a huge difference just in cranking the engine it boosted compression by almost double and it just runs smoother and opens up quickly with less lagging. If anyone takes the time to read this I hope this helps sometimes it's the smallest things that make the biggest difference. Kudos from East Tennessee.

Bro, I drilled my fuel tap to allow the fuel to flow freely, however now when I ride and add full throttle the bike shuts off, do I need to make some adjustments on the carburetor?

Tanks. Got new bike no spark. I ordered new coil. But should have tried adjusting coil. One side off. I moved closer . But used match book on one side not the other. But no spark. So I ordered coil as I said. But I should set to one mill on both sides before putting new coil on. It’s new bike. Should not be bad coil. Thanks for cardboard trick 😮

This screw is not A/F adjust but idle adjust. On these carburetors you don't have mixture adjust. Only adjusting is that needle in throttle you can put it in multiple positions. But it still runs too rich. Rich mixture is good for lubricating engine but not good for max power

You have to put the stator plate on to access the view of the top dead center mark for the flywheel to line up with. So with that on you unscrew the smaller cap on top of the stator cover, and then take the bigger cap off the stator cover to spin the flywheel with the nut. The threads Wich the smaller cap was screwed into will have a flat spot streight up them. Or just make your own timing marks since it is still in timing then reference them when putting it back together

i recommend the 2 shoe clutches because the springs on the 3 shoe clutches snap easily
