I would check the wiring out, make sure the ground wire is still on the block of the engine. Or check the kill switch to make sure it’s not wired wrong. Just some other things to check 👍🏼 seems like it has everything else good compression, spark, etc. keep up the great videos!

dude take the spark plug out check it clean it off then spray some starting fluid in the spark plug hole or even just a couple drops of gas and see if it even tries to kick on if it doesn't u know ur not getting a spark or maybe u have a problem with something not being sealed properly.

I think you need to re adjust your kick starter look like it needs to be turned up so it’s up higher .i don’t think you getting a big enough kick ratio to turn the bike over .

@@skullcam i had the same issue in my pitbike build video couldnt get a full revolution .it will just give you a brighter spark amd will gove it a proper turn over.if its been sitting that long it can use all thw help,it can get 😃

does it have a clutch if so try bump start it, im thinking the timing is off because the side cover that u check the timing from is off the motor the little hole on the magneto side

Hey mate I have a 49cc quad have swapped motor etc and gave it a good little make over and changed the jets but its still a prick to start what would you reckon is wrong with it

man i have had pocket bikes that are hard to start..... other than having a nice clean carb ..and clean fuel .. check for any air leaks ,,there hard to find some times but can also cause a hard to start problem ...make sure it has a good brand spark plug... and have a look at the coil and fly wheel where those two little magnets are... make sure the gap is set right.... and they are not rusty... if all that is good... the way i start a hard to start pocket bike is.... choke on.. rev it up a few times... prime it slowly a few times with the pull start... then try start it once or twice with the choke on..give the throttle a little twist as you pull... then try start with choke off ..man if all that dont work.. just keep trying..one old pocket bike i got from a mate took two days .. trying to start after i striped the engine down cleaned it and put it back together... hope this helps bro

Try turning the engine over by electric start. And check for spark

No worries, did notice that the wires from kill switch aren't connected hence why i ask if there is any spark!!

yeah thats just the old kill switch wires ..the one with the key is the one connected
