Best vacuum cleaner ever. I've had the hose replaced in the vacuum and sewing machine I bought this vacuum from. Now I've had it for over 11 years and I think it will last me a lifetime. I paid $600 or $400 for it in 2013.

Think Twice Before Choosing Ecovacs T20 or T30, and here's why... I love robot vacuums and the convenience they offer, but I will never go down the Ecovacs path again due to the sheer disrespect and frustration I endured with their customer service. Their support is an absolute nightmare. When my T20 bot broke twice in the first year, they did repair it, but the hoops I had to jump through took months. I contacted them via text, call, email, and even writing, yet unbelievably, no one responded for ages. Eventually, I managed to get a resolution via email, but if you're hoping for management to step in and smooth things over, you'll be waiting until the end of time. 😂😢 Key issues: 1. Customer Service: Be prepared to go round and round with them. Save all documentation (receipts, proof of purchase) and the box it came in because, if something breaks, you’ll need to ship the entire unit back. Expect lots of questions, endless back-and-forth, and a painfully slow process. 2. Privacy Concerns: Check out KZbin videos from hackers discussing how easily someone could access your camera and microphone. Pairing these security risks with poor customer support makes this a hard pass for me. 3. Software Problems: My T20 deletes its map about once a month, even with a backup. It’s beyond frustrating, especially after spending so much time setting it up. 4. Hardware Issues: It doesn’t mop close to cabinets and struggles on high-pile carpets because the mop pads don’t lift high enough, leaving wet carpets. You have to manually remove the mop pads and keep it in vacuum-only mode unless you want it wasting cleaning solution by washing its pads every time it empties the bin. It’s also terrible around cords or small obstacles. If you have pets, you’ve been warned. 🐶 5. Performance: To be fair, the T20 cleans very well. With two dogs and three adults in the house, I’ve noticed less dust and overall cleanliness. The battery life isn’t great, so I split cleaning into sections. Still, I run it every day, and it maintains a cleaner home than I did before. 6. Warranty: The warranty is only one year, which feels inadequate for a product with this price tag. They release new models every six months, so it feels like you’re constantly stuck with an outdated model or paying to upgrade. The T20 has already been replaced. 7. Hair: I have to remove hair wrapped around both ends 1 to 2 times each use. The T20 sends me a notification that it needs the hair removed. Hope this helps someone.

@ModernCastle13 күн бұрын
VOCs are really tough to measure. We just don't have the necessary equipment to get reliable readings. That said, if VOCs are critical I would recommend something oversized for the space + with the largest carbon filter possible. It's the carbon that's removing VOCs, not HEPA. To that end, the IQAir MultiGas would be the best choice, in my view. See here - www.amazon.com/IQAir-MultiGas-Purifier-Medical-Grade-HyperHEPA/dp/B00069EGA0/ref=sr_1_2?tag=mc_1001-20

I'm in a tricky situation: we've just had exterior 11R non slip porcelain tiles fitted in an extension, also just built which opens into the garden and will potentially get wet with law mower etc. The problem is we can't clean these tiles because any regular or steam mop doesn't slide on them, obviously, so is the Crosswave a suitable machine to clean them. The regular mop falls apart if we try and use it. They are basically patio tiles but I can't use a pressure washer because I would make a big mess and the floor wouldn't dry. 😢

Looks like it was replaced with the 3500. AirDoctor did a similar thing with the 5000 to 5500. The 5500 is the exact same purifier as the 5000, just with a patented filter so 3rd parties aren't allowed to make filters for it. My guess is they are doing the exact same thing with the 3000 to 3500 upgrade model.

Have owned this for about a year now with 4 dogs, 1 Teenager and 2 adults with mainly hardwood floors and rugs. I give it a 9 out of 10. Biggest thing I've learned is clean the dirty tank after every use and clean you roller often. But yes it is amazing for hardwood floors and rugs. We did have one rug that was too thin and because the suction is so good it would pull the rug up and clog the suction. Not a big issue for us but still was a problem. Other than that it cleans hardwood floors with no sticky residue and handles pet hair without an issue.

Britta had the 6th highest TAP score? And Zero is #10? Zero definitely filters out more/better than Brita. It makes me, and I’m sure others, doubt your info.
@ModernCastleАй бұрын
I too was surprised at the performance of Brita and that of Zero. But to be clear this isn't a case of Zero / Brita filtering more / less than each other, but the fact that Zero failed to remove 100% of chloroform. Which Brita more fully removed. If you look at TDS (total dissolved solids) then yes, Zero did remove virtually all of those, while Brita left many in. That said, this is just a case of marketing and Zero moving the goal posts for what is actually important with respect to filtered water. Dissolved solids aren't inherently dangerous. As a result, the notion that Zero water reducing TDS to zero means very little in terms of actual water purity. Chloroform is more dangerous, which Zero failed to remove. This is why the water from Zero earned a lower score than Brita. One thing to note about the T30s is it's not that great on dark color floors and carpets. I just purchased mine 2 weeks ago, and I was having immediate issues with the anti drop sensors. The cleaning would be interrupted, and stop saying to clean the sensors. I returned my unit for another with the same exact results. The workaround would be to clean the sensors and place blue painters tape on top of the sensor to cover it. This workaround works for me with no more errors. This is only recommended if there is no risk of it potentially falling. If it's upstairs with a potential risk to fall down the stairs, this isn't recommended.
@user-kl2gq9nh6tАй бұрын
Brita elite (blue color) didn't remove anything at all from our tap water but an expired Brita regular filter (white) removed about 25% of whatever was in our tab water. Brita "explanation" was that our tab water does not have enough lead to remove. Doesn't make sense unless the blue removes only the lead and none of the stuff the white filter removes. Their pitchers are not as good as in the past (had 2 defective ones.) We don't buy Brita any more.
