Excellent review - would love your input regarding longevity, something I’ve not seen being discussed

Longevity is tough to measure in these types of products, as only really using it for an extended period of time can you tell. Fortunately, this is a model I used in the Modern Castle videography / studio for around 2 years. During that time, it was fantastic and there were zero issues beyond basic maintenance. Typically, the first major maintenance item for a robot is the battery, which typically lasts around 3 years. As long as you follow all the basic maintenance items there is no reason to think the robot wouldn't run for 10 years (perhaps more).

For the S7 MAX V,Any word if they will update features such as the "Rocky" voice commands? It has the capabilities with microphones and speakers. Also the swinging cleaning when mopping?

@@Anytechgoes Unfortunately, I'm not sure if they will be updating voice commands. I don't believe there has been updating to the swinging cleaning.

If you want a robot that also mops? It's much better. If the mop isn't all that important, I'd say it's only slightly better...definitely not enough to replace the i7 though.

@ModernCastle Thanks for the reply chief. Yeah, the mopping is something we really need now, because we moved to a home where we only have carpet in the bedroom!

Does the S7 Max Ultra work on tiled floor? Does it clean in the grout?

Yes Regarding grout - it just depends on how deep it is. In general, it should do fine on grout.
