Used to ride a mates Robinson (chrome gusset frame) in the 80’s. It was so nice!! Wish I had one now.

Love it, at first I thought you were doing my signature move of using a completely random coloured brake cable, but then I noticed it matched the chain. I also like to run my cable on the same side of the head tube as the lever. Sweet build.

I have a red line PL 20 from the early '80s that I am looking to get restored. Do you restore them for other people?

My era was 15-20 yrs. prior to this, yet this bike minus a couple small details would be right at home in 1980, what a beaut! 👍

Cool bike 👌🏻 I have an off topic question. Do you know anything about Shimano bikes made in the 70’s-80’s by Tange? Don’t think they were common in the uk. Cheers

Hi how come I'm 5'10 200 and the XXL bmx GT series pro bike looks like a juniors bike next to me I'm too big for it. Would going from 20-in Wheels to 24 and raising the seat make it more comfortable and allow me to fit on it. 20 years ago was last time I rode

Hi Alan, glad you put this up. This bike has a special place in my heart. Many years ago I had the good fortune to know Greg Alderman who was testing this bike for BMX Action Bike magazine. Greg was a really cool guy and lived local to me. We had a small skatepark that Greg bought the bike to with the photographer. He let me test the bike out pre photo shoot and I couldn't believe my luck. I was not a gifted rider, and I could only dream of having a bike like this, so I made the most of the experience. My own bike was a Team Murray 342, so you can imagine what riding a bike like this was for me. I never got to tell this story before so thanks for taking the time to talk about the bike in such detail, history indeed.
