"Hit him enough times and Sylvester Stallone drops down" 🤣 I literally haven't laughed that hard in years. "Hey Adrian! hope i don't get beat up by Bugs Bunny ya know!"

I had an Atari 2600 growing up, but never heard of this game. I think I would have loved it for the complexity, despite the clunkiness. Also, manual mapmaking would not have been a deal killer for me. I made my own for a couple of FPV dungeon games on the NES, Dungeon Master and Eye of the Beholder.

Again there is still items there and again you could use the squirt gun.
@jamesguinnup38752 күн бұрын
You think that there's no items but you are wrong if you use the squirt gun on those light switches you should be able to get extra stuff. and when the lights turn on and acts like a alarm and Marv runs off.

What'd you think about Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson? Just went back and watched you're old Mike Tyson's punch out review. Kind of joke after round 2 imo

Yeah it was a glorified sparring match. I was skeptical going in, but any credibility for the fight was washed away with the slap at the weigh-in.

RE2's soundtrack sticks with me after all these years. I love the main hall theme and think it's one of the iconic pieces of the game. My favorites would include that theme, the save room theme, and the one that plays when Leon reunites with Claire in the S.T.A.R.S. office.

Game like these should have a comback. Such a cool premise. I remember there was game in 2000 on PC with fantasy races playing Football!

It's games like this which show why Atari is so important to the history of the video game industry. This was revolutionary for its time. You knocked over the opposing player, different teams with different colors, the speed at which the players are able to move. One of my favorite Atari/Activision games...

Never played this game, but C seems like a fair rating, especially since it was released late in the the 2600 life.

How did you decide to use the in-game song as your ending song? "Sidewalk Surfin'" by Jan & Dean is a good skateboarding song.
@AqualungGameReviews2 күн бұрын
I tend to use the in-game music for the end whenever a game has one, which isn't all that often on the 2600 lol.

That game sucked so bad, I preferred football on the Odyssey. I never played the Real Sports on Atari. So, from my personal experience I never saw a good football game until Tecmo Bowl on the NES. There was also an NFL Football on NES (before Tecmo) and when I saw the box in the store I thought "finally, a good football game". I took it home and put it in and was impressed with the graphics, but the gameplay sucked and it was so slow, unplayable. Then came Tecmo NES/SNES then finally Madden on the SNES/Sega Genesis. I see people complaining about the new Madden games and I think "you fuckers don't know how good you got it, try playing Atari 2600".

For me the introduction of drop passes and fake shots in 95 was huge. Playing against my bro we got really creative with these options. Eventually I got used to 96 and thought it might be better. But looking back the increased speed alone probably makes it a step down.

Such a good soundtrack. Only difference for me would be to move Scene 3-1 into the #2 spot. That little arpeggio sweep sounding riff that starts and is heard though the second half of the piece just does it for me. Great list!
