If you live in the US or anywhere outside of Europe, DON’T order factory direct from COOPH. Instead, buy from a local dealer. I returned a strap for a refund because it wasn’t what I expected, and getting that refund required filing a claim with PayPal. While I did eventually receive my refund, the process was a hassle. Their customer service department is slow and wishy-washy; it seems like they might be too busy watching TikTok videos on their phones instead of doing their jobs. I can't believe a large company like Leica would endorse their straps.

If one wanted to switch out the strap, does it look replaceable or permanently attached? Thank you for the video.

My new Wotancraft Pilot 3.5L has arrived (took 1 week to arrive in the UK - with no customs duties) For those interested, it fits my a7R5 with the following lenses: 1) Sigma 14-24mm 2.8, camera face down 2) Tamron 28-200mm, camera face down or lying on the side 3) Any combination of the 20-70 or 20mm or 85mm with 1 lens on the camera and 1 on the side 1) and 2) with space for the 20-70 f4 or 20mm 1.8 or 85mm 1.8 on the side using the divider provided with the bag. Hope this helps.

26:20 i recently played with a lumix fx35 camera from 2008 that had a physical toggle switch between shooting mode and gallery mode. so you can choose to view images before turning on the camera.

It is a commonly repeated error that the Leica D-Lux 7 and 8 models have the same sensor. If you look at the specifications published by Leica, you find that the D-Lux 7 has an MOS sensor, and the D-Lux 8 has a CMOS sensor. From e-con Systems: CMOS cameras have several imaging features that highlight their advantages over other types of cameras. These features include high resolution, low noise, high dynamic range, fast readout speed, and low power consumption.

MOS sensor was just a marketing thing during the D Lux 7 generation, panasonic wanted to differentiate themselves so they stuck with MOS as the name even though it was CMOS sensor in the d lux 7. it is actually the same sensor just different names

AF and Tracking remains as number 1 issue on the shit list of Fuji camera including this Gfx100S. Also lack of D pad or 3 rd control wheel just make these Fiji camera a pain to use when compare to good FF like z9 and R3.

PD is a much better choice imo. Ulanzi paid a ton of KZbinrs to promote it like crazy - there's way too many QC issues with Ulanzi for me to feel comfortable putting my expensive gear on it. Thanks for the video, really detailed breakdown.

his predictions about film coming back again was right as we can all see now. Its been in my mind to sell all of my digital camera gears and buy myself a good film camera that will last that long... though its also scary but I am already considering it. at the moment I am using as Sony Alpha with a Minolta vintage lens, and last week I just bought my very first film camera, Canon AE1-P (cause that's what I can afford at the moment).

I just received mine 3.5l and I am shocked none of the reviewers, especially those that own or have reviewed Billingham bags, mentioned that the Pilot bags do not have padding anywhere near where I’d be comfortable placing my Leica Q3. I have the Billingham Leica M System bag and it has a ton of padding on the bottom.

I don't like how the 'flimsy'? film advance lever is on the left, over the viewfinder, so hard (impossble?) to shoot multiples while keeping your eye up, on subject. Not so good for people street photography...

It would be easy nowadays to fit an APSC sensor in this form factor. Instead we get a slighly revamped still Panasonic made version of the 7 years old original Panasonic camera (which you still can get for a fraction of this red dot version).

I don‘t really get the discussion about the step-zoom. My approach would be to look through the EVF and then just compose my image with any focal length that fits the shot I want to take. It doesn‘t matter to me if that is 38mm or 40mm in the end. The only practical aspect of the step-zoom to me would be that you can very quickly zoom from 24 to 75 for example.

5 element lens is interesting. Planar was originally a 6 element lens, but there’s a variation that has 5. Other possibility that comes to mind is the Biometar, which was intended to improve on the 4 element Tessar.
