You can not hold a chair for hours and expect it to be there. I think they should be fined for their entitlement
@emily.toombs2 күн бұрын
I’ve removed towels from chairs at resorts. You have to actually care if someone gets mad about it for it to be effective.
@barryscott74702 күн бұрын
Last cruise I was on people put towels on chairs at midnight…after three days cruise employees started stacking chairs at 11pm but still had to get up at 5am to get a chair
@terrycook5632 күн бұрын
I always just grab the towel and chuck it on another empty toweled chair. If you aren't there, it's not your chair.
@jayp.71972 күн бұрын
My problem with this is that you, as a passenger, have no way of knowing how long it’s been there, and therefore no way of knowing if the person is just swimming in the pool or just stepped away for a minute to get a bottle of water or use the restroom or something. And I don’t think it’s reasonable to expect someone to give up their spot for any of those things. The staff who have been there and are keeping an eye on things are the ones who can actually know whether or not the person is being reasonable.

I’d be tossing towels just for fun 😂

Hi, how would you describe the age range of the adults on your specific itinerary? I am considering Princess for its amenities/beautiful ship, but I’m told their target demographic is for 50+. As I will be cruising for my 25th, I don’t want my family + group to feel ostracized. Thanks
@TravelingFlamingo2 күн бұрын
We have sailed with Princess mainly times. The first time we sailed with them and our family we were 21. Our friends love Princess and sail with their son who is 10. They do have a kids are it just isn’t as big or elaborate as other cruise lines. Hope that helps. Happy travels

I say no reserving chairs
@TravelingFlamingo2 күн бұрын
I think cruise lines are getting more strict around that.
@andrewmcallan86722 күн бұрын
It is infuriating to see chairs reserved for hours, I say you have to be and remain on the pool deck to reserve a chair
@TravelingFlamingo2 күн бұрын
Most people we have spoke to feel the same way. Some cruise lines are really stepping it up when it comes to preventing this.
@LJ-vj8kv2 күн бұрын
When we were at the pool we saw chairs that had stuff on them for hours, then the people came and took their stuff and left. I get changing your mind but for hours others could have used those chairs.
@TravelingFlamingo2 күн бұрын
Oh man that sucks :(
@TravelingFlamingo2 күн бұрын
We have seen cruisers find an open chair and sit down, then people come back and get mad that their stuff is gone when it was the cruise staff that removed it. No one wants to get in an argument over a pool chair.

MSC has the best thermal spas and they are not expensive for the full pass. Aside from the Divina all of them have a therapy pool. Carnival seems to have some good ones on there ship too. I've found Royal doesn't really do thermal areas at all its just saunas.

The therapy pools are nice :) we will have to try MSC soon. Thanks for watching and commenting.

As a former smoker now I vape. Now not vaping in public areas fine. It is just water vapor 🙄 it should be allowed in cabins. There’s no odor or flame. Don’t act like it’s dangerous. People have rechargeable everything in their cabins. 🤷♀️

If u don’t get a drinks package, what is avail…just water or coffee tea @ the free eateries? Also, is the water safe 2 drink ( ie. filtered) so for exs, I could fill up my water bottle b4 my excursion & use that instead of buying a bottle of water while out?
@TravelingFlamingo13 күн бұрын
There is coffee, tea, hot chocolate, water, lemonade and ice tea. That is what we do. We fill our water bottles from the drink stations at the buffet and cafe.
@ginamills559713 күн бұрын
@@TravelingFlamingo ok, thank you. i'll bring some of those flavor packets/electrolyte things to put in my water for a change of pace instead of water all the time. my mother is frugal so she's not doing the drinks package, plus we don't drink alcohol anyway so we figure thats best. i was just curious about the options.
