Did you feel like you needed an inhaler after the gas chamber? I’m wanting to join, I’m waiting for a recruiter to reach out but I’m afraid that I might not have access to my pump or be able to join after that part.

So I was diagnosed with asthma at age 12 and it got worse at about age 15 and that’s when I needed an inhaler but now I am 20 and still having asthma problems and I think it’s because of my weight I’ve always been a bigger girl so I’m in the process of losing weight and hopefully it goes away but if it does will I still qualify to enlist ? As long as I was diagnosed with it before age 13?

Are you still having real bad symptoms after the age of 13?

My asthma has died down since i was little. I am 14 now, and can run over a mile without an inhaler. My lungs have gotten stronger, so hopefully the marine corps will take me.

I’m 17 and I have a long history of asthma hospitalizations and whatnot and have a allergy to peanuts, Im currently working on being put on a therapy to get rid of the allergy and up until last year is where I stopped taking my asthma medicine and btw I’m a wrestler and football player and it’s been my dream to join the marines, when I was 15 I was 230lbs at 5’9 then 7 months later I was 159. I’ve put to much work into this, I’m going all in I don’t got a plan b. I pray that all this hard work will pay off and I can pursue my dream.
@buhbbhclaus39582 жыл бұрын
this is my exact situation!!! i don’t have bad asthma, never needed my inhaler, i’m an athlete and i also have a peanut allergy! I wanna get tested for my allergy again and if i still have it i’m gonna do immunotherapy. Did it work out for you?

@bertobazmastr Жыл бұрын
@@heatherette8 it was such a cake walk. You do whatever you need to do. You have to sometimes coexist with the recruits but it’s easy as hell and you can be outta there fast. I had a good time at Veteran’s Orientation. Met some cool prior service peeps from army and other branches. Then you move on to your next command and even get to choose where you wanna go. I’m in Japan right now for my duty station!
