I remember feeling burnt out from the COC and I told them that I was going to take a break but then they said that they don't pray for my salvation and yes they did believe that their church was the one true church and after they said that I decided to make a permanent break and block everyone over there just so they don't try to pull me back in and maybe they wouldn't try to pull me back in and maybe they would just try to shame me or shun me but I just wanted to do it just to be on the safe side. Ever since I left that church I have my life back. I can date who I want and I don't have to convert them into going to that church. I married in that church and if you know the courtship culture, you have no time to really get to know who you're marrying. Every date is chaperoned, you can't express any natural human emotion or affection, you're questioned about your purity constantly and you wake up one day lying next to a complete stranger. when I made the choice to leave the church and the day I told my then wife that I wanted out, she asked for a divorce immediately after. The women's ministry leader told women in the church to get out of marriages if their husbands decide to "turn and burn."

I was a member of this icoc church for 12 years and every time I hear a video like yours, this confirms the reasons I left. Those who were supposed to be my closest brothers and sisters are vanished from my life since the day I walked out. This church is not from God but from the enemy and they’re destroying more people’s lives to this day, they use the Bible to manipulate people in the very way you have described on your video. And not to mention all the hypocrisy that is being practiced there. The goal of this indoctrination was to make you think you are sold out for Jesus, but the truth is they indoctrinate you to be sold out to the indoctrination of the slavery of the church who who manipulate the Bible to their own interests. This church abuses and exploits people of all ages, they will brainwash you. It’s a dangerous church stay away from it.

I beleive the tuth when it is of Christ

I visited a local ICOC after leaving one decades ago. I mean I was in during the Boston/Crossroads years, the earlier years. And so hearing "they've changed" I went to visit for myself. And I have to say it was "flat." I mean no life in it at all. All hype and no depth. I knew I wasn't going to join or be a member but wanted to visit...I know, for some reason. But after being out I was able to visit. I even went to a "home Bible study" that was designed to be evangelistic. Or should I call it a Bible Talk. Either way. Well after a few months I decided that was all and I'm not going back. The foundation is corrupt. It's a matter of salvation by works vs salvation by grace through faith. And salvation by faith has been consistent throughout the scriptures from Abel, to Abraham, David to the Gentiles in Acts 10. They have the cart before the horse and the COC in general has been like that before the ICOC started.

I was a member of this church for over 10 years from 1997 to 2007 and I’m still recovering, I regret the day I decided to join the church, they brainwash you thinking it’s the decision of your life. I do believe in Jesus and the Father and now I’m careful what I accept as truth, I know many got hurt and I believe that to this day it hasn’t changed, this cult remains as it has been since the beginning. Also this icoc church never had a problem celebrating Christmas, or Halloween or any pagan celebration, all this celebrations don’t come from God but from Satan, if any wants to study how Christmas originated you will find out that is paganism and paganism is from Satan and any one who follows this paganism will have an evil effect on them, one example Christmas is very important for the world because this is when retailers make the most money, so it’s not about Jesus birthday, it’s about buying expensive gifts for other people which is idolatry, I think giving gifts is fine as long as you do it outside of paganism. There’s so much more to talk about, why does icoc meet on Sundays for communion and worship services? The correct day should be on the Shabbat day which is Saturday. The Roman Catholic Church meets on Sundays because of paganism, The Roman Empire leaders at the time the catholic religion was flourishing decided to have the people meet in Sundays because there was a false god the people of Rome were worshipping on Sundays and this is the sun and that’s why you see the sun engraved on their so called Eucharistic bread, as you can see there’s a lot of falsehood in the catholic religion. As true Christian’s we need to do things as the word of God teaches us or we just end up being another false religion that will destroy us and send us to hell.

My experience with nondominational church’s the people have issues , they don’t show the fruits of the spirt , joy , love,and compassion and are constantly complaining negatively and forcing their beliefs in people and getting into individuals personal life . There is more to being a Christian then just worshiping god, and just because you go to church doesn’t make you a good person. Am, I alone here anyone comprehend to what I’m experiencing?

Just before I left. I had a mature woman who was my friend walk up to me and tell me that the leaders had told her not to speak to me again. I had met this person originally I baptised her into the church.
