dont forget to replace that POS sheet metal stamped nut, AKA, the Achilles heal of the 7.3, it is 1/2 x 20 if you need to know the size, the stamped nut WILL come loose and sideline your truck

Dealite being born in the 90s, I remember using some rotary phones theoughout my childhood and they're satisfying to use and hear. Definitely a pain if you messed up your call and had to hang up to start over though! Haha Or when you didn't have caller ID and picked up a call you regret

2 stroke diesels had to have blowers.Not superchargers They have to have them to run it.Don't go but about 3 to 4 pounds above Is atmospheric pressuree

So far so good. I had one upper control arm develop a squeak within 6 months, so I replaced it with a greasable upper ball joint. That’s the only thing I’d change is to put in serviceable ball joints in the upper position.

I replaced the resistor. Tried it. Fan didn't turn on until a few minutes passed. Then I tried to turn the fan off then back on and now it won't turn on.

Don’t all Detroits have a supercharger to pressurize the crankcase so when the cylinder ports are revealed by the piston’s bottom stroke the exhaust gasses get pushed where they need to go? The turbo will be where horsepower is made.

Thanks, I just spent a couple days replacing my transmission coolant lines, but I know I’ve had a slight coolant loss over past few months, So been parking on concrete last couple days to make sure the coolant lines weren’t leaking. Just got home & noticed a small puddle under truck, but it didn’t appear to be trans fluid & I noticed a leak or drip from above coming somewhere in the engine, So gonna go look if that’s the culprit.

Usually, one of those bolts on the inside is a 12 pioint 9/16 head. Delco mt 42, probably.

That’s hard to say without seeing it, but there has to be another circuit that’s pulling power while the vehicle is off…

I found this thread that seems to have several different problems that occur in these. Sounds like the actual speed selector panel/control panel can also be bad.
