If the wall is plaster and lath, can you still use that hole saw to cut the hole in the wall?
@GrubNGas

I don't know if this would cut that...I think you might need a jigsaw or a reciprocating saw.
@trotter73ca
@trotter73ca 29 күн бұрын
@@GrubNGas I did a bit of research and it looks like a cut out tool with a grout/tile bit to cut the plaster then switch to a wood bit to cut the wood strips (lath) attached to the plaster. Too much vibration (jigsaw or sawsall) and the blades catch on the wood and jolt it resulting in cracks and pieces of plaster breaking off. I'm getting a wood stove put in this old house and researching to make sure it goes smoothly. 👍

A hole saw will cut the plaster but it's really hard on the teeth. Just get a cheap harbor freight kit. I've cut tons of it with an oscillating saw for electrical work. I get the cheap bulk blades on Amazon since the plaster will wear the teeth off after cutting a few holes.

I have an 07 Yukon, started noticing strong gas fumes, sometimes acting up when cranking after it’s been ran, then it’s an absolute nightmare to put gas in it. Takes forever. First thing I did was change the purge valve, then replaced charcoal canister, and blew out the lines. As my luck would have it, trying to put gas it in is still a a pain. At first the fumes went away, after driving it a few times, they are back and it still acts up after a warm start. HELP!!!!! I am going insane!!!!! I don’t think this really matters, but my Yukon is cammed and tuned etc, surely that has zero to do with my issue/issues. ANY help or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Also I found this note on a forum: If it keeps happening, you likely have a clog somewhere, clear the vent line first in the filler neck and then the lines that go to the charcoal canister, might be full of charcoal all the way up to the valve on the engine. Painted it a brighter blue and made a custom visor out of a highway sign. Added 8 inch irrigation stacks, a newer air ride seat for the driver, and put the old air seat for the passenger. Tinted the windows and had some decals made to read 'BLUE BASTARD' and where I hail from. We enjoy showing it, working on it, and, of course, driving it full boar.
