We found a 1985 Ford E350 church bus with only 60,000 miles on the 460 cubic inch big block! Can we get it home? Can we get it running? Let’s go!!!

Dead lucky you didn't trash the transmission by towing it 50 miles without the engine running and the prop still on it. No running engine = no transmission oil pump = overheated transmission. Bearing that in mind it would be wise to drain the transmission fluid, fit a new screen filter and re-fill with fresh fluid as soon as possible in case it has overheated the fluid. Bus is looking great cleaned up. Would make a great van life conversion.

You know, I didn’t even think of that…whew…that would’ve been bad. Thanks for the advice and comment! Will add this to the list of to-do’s on the bus. I agree, this would make a phenomenal van life vehicle!
