Special times. When you could see these fights in the pub, on free-to-air channels, with your mates, scream your head off, watch world class sport. Everybody at work enthused the next day. Bliss. Then we 'progressed' and ended up with taking it away from the vast majority of people and having fights at 3 in the morning. Got to love how we have advanced :P

Hated Eubank at that time,don’t like him still to be honest,wronguns,but he had a jaw like a cliff,so fair play,Calzaghe straightened it out🤷🏻‍♂️(didn’t like him either)

Great fight but Benn was cheat. He used to duck his head below the belt line and the referee used to allow it. The minute he got hit he’d duck his head. Even in these highlights you can see he does it on every exchange.

R.I.P. Wing Chun Master and Martial Arts Moviestar Li Hai Sheng 李海生 passed away at the age of 83 in Hongkong. (*April 15, 1941 - +September 9, 2024). Hi has worked together with most of the Hongkong moviestars sinds the erarly seventies and his remakeble part as shaolin monk in The 36th Chamber of Shaolin will remember as all time favorit. Ruhe in Frieden: Der Wing Chun-Meister und Martial Arts-Filmstar Li Hai Sheng 李海生 ist im Alter von 83 Jahren in Hongkong verstorben. (*15. April 1941 - +9. September 2024). Er hat seit den frühen Siebzigern mit den meisten Hongkonger Filmstars zusammengearbeitet und seine unvergessliche Rolle als Shaolin-Mönch in "Die 36 Kammern der Shaolin" wird mir als mein absoluter Favorit in Erinnerung bleiben.
