I believe he was very underrated, yet he made one of the best bad guys ever

He certainly gained quite a cult following. He even appeared in _Ip Man 2_ (the Donnie Yen-starring film) and _Kung-Fu Hustle_

These guys are truly ICONS of their craft. They were impressive when they were young, and pursued a CRAFT that is so physically demanding few even consider it as a career. They fought (PRACTICE) for 8 hours a day on the set!

i think its great how they had a bunch of these old school kung fu movie legends show up as cameos and small roles in some recent flicks, Fung Hak On was in the Ip Man movies, but another legend was in th Bodyguard movie with Sammo Hung, Dean Shek. These guys were in 200+ movies always playing the same roles, Fung Hak On always the bad guy, and Dean Shek always the silly guy.. except in A Better Tommorow II where he played a more serious role. So these legends were able to get a little bit of recognition before passing away.

He is the 1st person you see in 'Snake in the Eagles Shadow'. That is where I found him. I now own many movies with him in and he will always be one of my favourite martial artists!

No one did what he did! Would love to see him as the hero for once. His martial arts where so good, but so was his subtle acting. Would be soooo nice to see more of that in the caractization of a protagonist.
