The Nightfire minimap icon is the same as the Nightfire DLC map layout, so I assume that map was bought back for DLC later in development. The default vehicle is something I've been really curious about ever since it was first found in COD2 - I'd love if someone could find more info about it as it's a really weird placeholder, and the model seems too detailed to be something quick and easy to test veh movement. The model itself is based off the S14 Silvia/200sx/240sx which has always made me wonder if Treyarch were ever planning on making some sort of racing game, and had the model laying around somewhere. Treyarch did plan on making a Zombie driving game back in the early 2000s called "Dead Rush", which made me wonder if it was leftover from that, but it just seems a bit out of place when looking at old trailers for it etc. I don't play much modern COD, but the default vehicle has been in the game files of a lot of CODs since WAW, the latest one I know of is in Vanguard (EDIT: There's also a reddit post of it being found on MW2022), and can even be found outside of some of the multiplayer maps (non driveable ofc). Maybe one day I'll dig deeper into it 😄

It would be nice if you did an episode about Crash of the Titans, because I think it would be the first time someone has done that and its so underrated. Episodes about the original Star Wars battlefronts and the Destroy all humans games would also be interesting.

You missed the two tracks which are played in level 7 where the stonecutters tunel and Burns mansion would be. That also means it was planned to use the ful map for this level.

I always thought it was funny how while the console game was a 3D game with 2D cutscenes, the DS game was the inverse, being a 2D game with 3D cutscenes. The cutscenes were also slightly longer and featured lines cut from the console cutscenes. Little did I know, this was all probably because the DS game uses versions of the cutscenes from earlier in development, before they decided to replace them with 2D ones. 9:27 Also, the voices of Homer and Kent Brockman in this unfinished Lard Lad cutscene was definitely Maurice Lamarche.

Edit: A friend has told me that it actually was renamed to Planet Springfield in all (read: 2) subsequent appearances in the show. Namely the episode where Homer becomes a food critic.
