A few things of note: The Ice-cream truck and other Cellphone cars CAN be used in the vanilla game if you get 100% which gives access to the All Vehicles cheat which lets you press L or R when in a phone booth to access a menu that lets you drive any vehicle including a few unused or mission NPC only ones along with any of the level specific secret vehicles as well which is why you can see Homer in level 1 driving the Monster Truck from Level 5 through the RV park in the game demo. Also the ghost children voices that were played can be heard when standing around the playground near the Simpsons house or the School.

Fun fact; the red brick car also exists as a cheat code in crash tag team racing too, a game also made by radical using the same game engine, they used this engine and improved it as they made newer games, even crash of the titans and mind over mutant uses the shar engine.

Those Lisa lines are totally used, I swear I’ve heard them, maybe they’re just from an episode, or maybe they’re reused from Road Rage and I heard them there.

They're used in the Xbox version, but I'm not sure about other platforms. I can't remember if it's when you're playing as Lisa or if it's when you're another character while using Lisa's car with her in the driver seat. For those reading this reply and might be unaware, sometimes the player is driving cars in the passanger seat with a NPC in the driver seat and is just talking... to this day I don't know why the developers did some cars like this for some levels.

@@LostMyR8 not sure if it's true but i heard someone say a character will only show up in their own car if they're NOT already in that level as an NPC somewhere. for example, professor frink won't show up in the hover car in apu's level as he's always on the map as an NPC (i think), but maybe in marge's level he's in the hover car as he's not on that map.

Speedrunner of the game here, I can 100% confirm these lines ARE in the game. Maybe he just meant specifically for the triggers of Lisa being hit by a car outside of her vehicle, either way everyone here is not having a false memory.

i still own ps2 and ps2 version of game and to this day base ps2 has never had issues and never overheated and not been cleaned for 10 year or more unlike ps4 i got which just loves to over heat and not play for long for games it seems. point is older consoles was built more like tanks it seems

20:33 I am around 90 percent sure that the "YOU BETTER RUN!" line is in the game and can be heard in the playground in level 7 where you can hear quite a few ghostly voicelines of kids

Actually, those ghost voices were actually used in the playgrounds if you’re gonna idle there or not, it’s really creepy knowing that the camera rotates 15° angle and zoom in closer to the ground on your bottom screen can also hear Lisa’s and Bart’s voice

In regards to the Audi TT, maybe it was there because the devs initially thought of incorporating real life vehicle brands? Whether this would’ve been via product placement or for no reason is difficult to say, but it’s fun to speculate.
