Great straight to the point, well shot, directional video. Thanks so much for this. I fished a lot when I was younger and have been getting into now more again as an adult. Always used spinning combos but recently decided to try bait casting. Man if the start of your video didn’t describe perfectly my situation. I would go out, bring my bait caster and a couple spinning setups, cast the baitcaster, get tangled up, then just switch to the spinning after spending 20 minutes trying to untangle. This helped me so much and I can now at least cast!

I bought the Torrex. And wish i had been more patient and just went with the XT or better bow all together . The Torrex cables catch and pop really bad on the string stop. N Ive never been able to get it tune right , I think that’s why…also the limb bolt receiver pin keeps slides left and right if your not not completely maxed out n tightened to the riser so it lets the limb pivot left n right throwing tune out .also Hoyt needs to fix their Fuse quiver where you can adjust it even with the bow. It sits way too low like it for a kids bow n only holds 4 arrows . I think 5 or 6 should be minimum.so whatever you buy get a bare bow and build it out. Those fuse accessories are just a waste in my opinion even the plastic sights can warp and twist on you

An inspiring hunt in tough conditions! My first pheasant hunt was in Champaign County, Illinois in 1969 when I was 12. It was me, dad, and my younger brother on farmland we had permission to hunt. We weren't hunting with dogs, but let me tell you. There were so many wild birds flushing, our hunt was soon over. Fast forward to today and we see how much habitat destruction has affected wild pheasant and northern bobwhite quail populations natural habitat. Well, at least the wild turkey population recovered.
