Are you using a 3/32 countersink drill bit also? I just came from Home Depot and that had every size except 3/32.

Vey cool enclosure. I am currently building a 2’ high x 30” deep x 72” long enclosure for a Texas Indigo. The snake is currently a juvenile so I am installing a temporary center divider to make a temporary smaller cage for the snake until it grows to full size. What would you recommend for UV lightning for the entire enclosure. I was thinking (2) 34” fixtures that can 10:23 be installed to the ceiling, and they can plug in line to each other do one switch turns both lights on. Your thoughts? I would not be using the right ceiling light until the center divider is removed in a few years. I will also be ordering your heat bulb fixture/cage kit for the enclosure. Thank you for any recommendations you have in regard to installing UV lights in my enclosure.

Where do you get the cool tall tree inside the enclosure?

Both oil and water based urethane are reptile safe when fully cured. The down side to oil based is that it will off gas for much longer. But oil based is far more durable and water resistant.

Yeah, those little humidity gauges, you’d get a better reading by simply licking the air in the enclosure. Those gauges are usually found at big pet stores and are absolute rubbish, never buy them… EVER!

I don’t think drylock extreme is safe for this. You can’t use it in aquariums so why use it for a reptile. It has a mildew inhibitor in it that stays working after it’s cured and dry
