The higher grades should always fight to the level of the grade they are sparring as Shihan Jean Jacques Burnel is doing. He is showing his control. In this way, the lower grade has the opportunity to learn. What better way to earn your next rank by fighting someone better. Just my opinion though.

I read somewhere he can understand Japanese, but you wouldn't think he'd have anything else to learn, by now. He has been doing karate since the mid 70's. You'd think he'd know it all.
