Why is a yellow belt sparring in a grading with a black belt? Any gradings I have ever seen, in karate, jiu jitsu or TKD, the candidates spar with opponents of the same belt. The black belts will be at the table, assessing them.

The higher grades should always fight to the level of the grade they are sparring as Shihan Jean Jacques Burnel is doing. He is showing his control. In this way, the lower grade has the opportunity to learn. What better way to earn your next rank by fighting someone better. Just my opinion though.
