I have my Peru Balsamic a few Hours now and love it more and more,,,,i love Vanilla Fragrances,,,just a few Drops from that Extract makes my selfmade perfect Vanille Parfume perfect,,,,remembers me little bit to absolute aphrodisiac,,,,with my Vanille Parfumes and Vanilline(99,9%pure) and Absolut Aphrodisiac i have a Dupe from,lol.Castorium ( synthetic) i need,,,,lol,,,,and pure Vanilla Oil,,,,Vanille west indies is nice but somthing inside makes it feminin,,,Peru basamic makes it more maskulin i think.I read about Parfumes with Peru.b. .A lot famous and expensiv like few from Roja( few tausend Dollors),, i think P.b.is a very important ingridient of that,,,,

There are vetivers from India, china, Haiti, Indonesia and many other places. But I heard bourbon vetiver is the ultimate. Indian vetiver is of 3 types. North Indian and South Indian. North Indian comes in two types, green (ruh khus), and brown. The difference is that ruh khus is steam distilled in copper stills and brown one in stainless steel stills. Most western perfumes don’t contain any 100% natural vetiver as it is very hard to work with as most people don’t like the top notes and it’s to blend. Most common vetiver used in commercial perfumery is vetiveryl acetate and the expensive ones have a molecular distilled version where they remove the undesirable notes. What I like the most is ruh khus aged in camel skin containers. This allows the top notes to escape with time. The older it gets the better it gets and the more expensive it gets. Hope this was useful. Ciao

Gently warm it and add 50% by weight of Perfumer alcohol. Then you have a 50% Cashmeran.

Can we use pure saffron to create a perfume ?
@DenverDave5 ай бұрын
Yes by making a tincture, but understand that it has restriction for skin application. Dave
@shashou355 ай бұрын
@@DenverDave so you are saying that if I use the adequate quantity of saffron, I can put the pistile directly into the preparation?
@DenverDave5 ай бұрын
If it were me, I would do 5 g of saffron to 95 g of perfumers alcohol. Yes, the strands will be in the alcohol and it needs to mature for a few months. Dave

@DenverDave5 ай бұрын
Please do not do this unless you are a professional and know your food chemistry. Yes many aroma molecules are used in the food industry, but it takes years of learning to know the safety precautions for each and every molecule regarding food. Dave
@TrillNoel9 ай бұрын
100% agree: Everything changes once these molecules are on skin! Have you considered trying a small usb heater? I find this helps to activate molecules on scented strips when you are unable to test on skin or out of space.

Wonderful to hear your story with Z11 MIP. I fell in love with this ingredient at first sniff. Originally I thought it would serve as a fixative ingredient due to it's molecular weight and descriptors... boy was I wrong HAHA. Placing it with a series of beautiful rich ambers with trace elements of Bergamal and saffron threw me into another universe. I felt like it became a wood dipped in molten silver. When you said "metal hot and sand warm" I could only nod my head in agreement. So much potential.

question: if i have the absolute as a thick paste, how much do i need of that with how much alcohol in a 10ml bottle? in other words, what is the absolute:alcohol ratio?
@DenverDave11 ай бұрын
I made mine at 5%. A 10ml bottle will probably hold a total of 7g. So .35g of Cocoa AB and 6.65g of Perfumers Alcohol will create a 5% solution. Dave

I tried adding Fixateur 505E and in a citrus woody blend (i also added frankincense EO in the composition) when I was experimenting .. i have to agree with you. Fixateur 505e and frankincense have a brightening effect. Here's what ive experimented with that citrus woody blend: 1. iso e super 33.33% of the concentrate - this one's nice enhanced the woody facets without overpowering it 2. Ambroxan 5% of the concentrate - i know i know, this is too much. It gave it a very sharp slightly metallic facets. 3. Iso e super 15%, ambroxan 5%, Hedione 20% - the hedione helped smoothening out the sharp edges the ambroxan added but using hedione at this level, might have flattened out the other notes😢. 4. Fixateur 505E 5% of the concentrate- i know, this is also too much😅 it made the citruses feel like, as if I dipped it in ocean water.

Hello, thank you for your videos! I Learn a lot from it. I have made this formula. The orris is taking over in the maturing. Everything I put orris in smells like a noodle soup package before you cook it😂 so I'm curious how you use it. I'm thinking of making a 0,1% dilution. The boronal also has that noodlesoup vibe to me.. it's complex but it takes over in the maturing sooo much
