I have this model but it is not in Japanese the box is older. It doesn’t say dust runner. I would like like to sell it can someone tell me what it is worth? It is in near perfect condition but the wiring may need work in remote. The only thing it doesn’t have is a Manuel.

best bet would be to look on ebay. that is where I found this guy. I still have it, still in the box, still havent figured out the gremlins in the wiring..

How come theres only 1/12 scale online and no 1/10scale?
@thestuffz21 күн бұрын
because there is only 1/12 and 1/14 scale versions. the chrome one is 1/12th scale. its not really to scale so it is pretty much 1/10

Thanks for this vid' !! Previously taking the sticky' power cord off, snapped a side portion of the aged holder, and then when I attempted to loosen by rotating to pull, the rest of it were easily damaged. Great pointer' about that notch/key to confirm alignment during extraction, and input of a newbie' ! The grudge I can see in the tube will still make it a challenge to pull. Will try to pic' in the two side notches to pull, otherwise drill at least one hole into the centre of the pump , tah pull it out with maybe an appropriately twisted, (retired) bicycle spoke. All this, presently for the '82 F100 3.8L v6 M3oT ;-) A locale shop supposedly has a replacement unit for $23cdn (p/n 173964) 8-)

@@thestuffzAfter realigning the notch/key, I was able to pull it out using my mask taped vise-grips. Brown grudge coated. Will be using Autoglym V-R to smooth out the input cylinder, and also the exterior of the entire reservoir to hopefully lengthen it's lifespan. ;-) This final reservo' unit is actually an upgrade I scored at my local go-to auto/recycling yard' from an '85, with the bottom two-way feed' for the coolant, vs the '82 F100 stock unit with 'one-way top cover edge rad' overflow feed' .

amazing, i am hoping to do one of these myself. didnt know someone did one till i saw this video. nice!!
@thestuffz4 ай бұрын
This truck was originally built by RCGuyFarms. You might have to force google to search the name cause it keeps showing results for similar names. It was made okay but the drive was just 2 continuous rotation servos. I never managed to make it have a driven axle unfortunately. I sold it to a guy down in the usa but by the time it got there, the post office had it's way with it and it was all in pieces..

Has anyone tried to make fuel tanks as the battery anyone seen anything like that? I’ve been brain storming this if you somehow took the fuel tanks fit like 4 rechargeable batteries in each one in the sequence like a battery pack you’d have to run wires across to make them one battery but also put a charge port in one of them where you plug a single prong charger into charge it up so the tanks don’t have to come off each time. I think that would be sick AF it would be like fuel in the tanks haha

if you mean like a push one that you can buy at walmart, probably no. Not enough weight/traction. would want something 4x4 and be able to put a weight on it for traction. Not sure if a Clodbuster would do it either

I owned one of those up in upstate NY for about 3 years. I paid $250 for it and had to put brake lines and an exhaust on it , the interior was almost perfect. It was also the quickest starting car I have ever owned, one pump of the gas and just touch the key and it started every time even on the coldest winter day. I still keep my own open for another one of those cause nothing else was as comfortable, not even the Cadillac I owned.

6 years later, how has that truck treated you? Did you ever have any other hard starting issues?
@thestuffz7 ай бұрын
Heh funny you should ask. Yesterday was the day I bought it new in 2015. in 2018 I traded it off. The mileage was amazing for a truck. Oil changes cost just as much as a powerstroke or a cummins at an oil change place. It held like 5 gallons of oil I swear. There was 2 big issues. #1 was when it gets hurt your face cold out, it would pee oil out on the ground from the cartridge style filter housing. left marks at work, the gate, my driveway every cold day. FCA wouldn't do anything about it. I almost want to blame those "smart" block heaters that only turn on at certain temps... There was a few times in the -50 that it had a hard time to start but never stranded me. Also the DEF system didn't like freeze and thaw days... #2 even though towing my 7800 pound camper it got about 15mpg but it was all that truck had to do 65mph/100kmhr. Passing was not an option. I had to put air bags in the springs to get rid of the 1/2 ton sagging.
@SteveC8107 ай бұрын
@@thestuffz i have 130k miles on mine. And now having this same cranking issue and it's not cold out. Id take ice fishing trips to the UP and experience well below freezing temps many times and never had a hard start issue. I appreciate you getting back with me. 👍

Amazing❗ ¥ours is in such good shape😳 My dad bought this for my Christmas gift. My first hobby grade RC (I was 10 yrs old in 83). He helped me build it. The used gray shrink tubing you found in the box is right there in step 14 (@ 21.26 ) supposed to go around the motor to keep water & dirt out. The missing sticker from your sheet is there in step 26 (@ 23.08 ) gauge cluster above the steering wheel. The tire sticker (@ 23:12) on my wild Willy 2: cut out from the sticker sheet, but I did not stick it normally. I put three loops of tape behind it and then stuck it to the fake tire. That way I don't have to punch a hole in it to remove. (Just peel it then put new loop tape after)
