My first truck was a 79 f-100 with a 302 and a 3 speed converted to floor shift.. I blew 2nd gear syncros out stupidly racing a co worker who had a 289 powered ranger

I just sold my 79 f150 with a 351 Cleveland v8 after the frame went i miss that truck

a better carb setup. I think that carb is my main problem. Not sure if I will just get another 4 barrel or go back to a 2 or find some sort of EFI. I have a cactus smasher to get on the front as well. I would like to start on doing floors and cab corners etc. Will see what happens for time and resources.

@@thestuffz I can't remember if you have the Edelbrock but Holley carbs are number 1 for a reason. Take a peak at them on summit. And make sure to not go too crazy on the CFMs. Dennis carpenter makes really good floor pans and cab corners. Definitely take a look at his website
