I'm gunna try this recipe: I use a lightning fast method that hasn't let me down yet: "Boil kettle, mix 1 cup milk powder+2 cups boiling hot water. Immediately stir in 2 tbsp vinegar, stir very gently until curdled, drop in a few ice cubes directly to the mix to cool quickly, strain through fine mesh strainer and press a little whey out, transfer to bowl, season with salt+msg and stir 2 tbsp cream to be fancy. Faster to make than a decent cup of tea, tastes better than most of the store-bought stuff, plus can easily be made into blocks of Paneer instead."

just buy a inkbird temperature controller. u wont have to modify anything with a temperature controller. u just plug the fridge into the controller and stick the temperature probe into the fridge and the controller will turn the fridge off and on so it stays at whatever temp u need. i use one to keep my fridge at 13C and its perfect. i got a humidity controller too that i plug a dehumidifier into and put probe into the fridge and it turns off and on to keep it at the right humidity. there is also a plug to plug in a humidifier but i dont have issues with not enough humidity so i dont use one. u can also get 2 in 1 controllers that control temp and humidity. wifi ones are cool cause u can check the temps on ur phone where ever u go.

Finally the video is out! It was stretching my patience :D. The process seemed tedious but the end result looked very good. Btw with the milk, I reckon there is a taste difference (at least to me), especially if you tend to have one kind over the other. I personally like the Non-Homogenized milk better.
@Thecultivatingcurmudgeon23 күн бұрын
Stretching your cheese instead of patience makes mozzarella 😀. Interesting, I agree powdered or UHT tastes different (bloody awful!) but I'll have to do a taste test next time we are making cheese.

Ok three things: 1. Deep Space Nine reference 😂😂😂 although I have no idea really, I'm only versed in TNG and even then not as much as I'd like. Also quark sounds like the way to go at first right, as a test of just....how everything goes? Or are you going straight into specialist stuff like casu martzu?! EDIT: Got to the end, ok gotcha 😅 2. I know you're not an arts major because unpacking all that technical equipment and sets of instructions made you actually look happy and didn't make you get up, burn the whole lot, and walk away... 3. I like the layout of your kitchen, has a very "heart of the home" vibe to it 😊 4. Yep I put a fourth one in too, sue me. I knew I'd made the right choice befriending you when you put in a "Blessed are the cheesemakers" at the end there....Bignose. also, I couldn't agree less, I'm more of a gourd follower myself, FOLLOW THE GOURD! "Consider the birds" "ooh now ee's 'avvin a go at the birds!" 😂😂😂 some of the best times of my childhood watching that on vhs at the family mango farm

1: Like most of the star trek series, except discovery, wrong Klingons and pretty non sensican/illogical (my Vinner Vulcan escaping) Try watching Enterprise, very underrated! Yep cheddar this time, looking into whats next. As most needs to age I'll have to build up my stock (watch out for the upcoming Cheese Fridge review 😬) 2:pretty much opposite to Arts, Embedded Systems Engineering, designing all those evil computers hidden in everything and control the world - all praise tour digital masters <grovel> 3: Our house definitely has that lived in look. Old ex soldiers home, 2 bedrooms and hasn't had much done to it since the 50s. Very small but there is only 3 of us. 4: oooh you lucky bar.......

I used to have a rose apple, but it just kept on succumbing to myrtle rust so much worse than anything else in the orchard. I chopped it out and replaced it with an abiu, the second to be planted as I bloody love them. It's a real shame really, becaue I tasted a rose apple just last week for the first time ever and I was blown away by the fragrant and surprisingly delicate sweetness! I may or may not be a little jealous of yours... I would need to get any olives fruiting before knowing if the fruit flies love them; I'm doing an experimental planting on my driveway with four low-chill varieties, but only a year in the ground. Your figs are textbook amazing. And I love a weed that gives me what I want, i.e. cape gooseberries! Would love to see updates on this part of your garden throughout the year (you probably have done so thus far anyway); you've hit on one of my passion areas here! Lots of variety in one small space; truly excellent!
@ThecultivatingcurmudgeonАй бұрын
We have a lot of the same trees I think, noticed during your rapid fertilising video - we should do a compare video ;-). That rose apple was cut to about 4ft diameter last autumn, now about 3m high and same across. Couldnt kill it if I tried!! I also heard olives dont fruit too well in the sub tropics/tropic so good luck with that. What varieties?
