I have this model. Mine has been very dependable for the last five years, and as long as I do a proper cleaning once in a while, it may go another five years. It grinds everything from very fine espresso to a coarse grind. ☕️ I have not had to order parts yet but they are readily available and easy to get.

I was wondering if this Cuisinart burr grinder overheats and stops? Also do the somewhat crusher blades wear out?
@CorkandJava2 ай бұрын
@@trishlith it's never overheated and stopped for me, but it's never been used for more than 45 seconds at a time. The blades will eventually wear out, but probably not before other components. Should last for many years without noticing a difference. Just make sure to keep it clean and try to avoid flavored coffees.

Why did you fill up the container with water BEFORE adding the coffee? That's just a waste, and a pain the butt. Put the filter in, pour the water slowly through the filter, saturating the grounds, then fill up the rest. It allows the process to start more easily, instead of having this concentrated area of grounds, and then shaking the damn thing all around to try to get them all wet.
