I have kinda done that process by hand a few times... haven't sewn much after my teens (long , long time ago) mostly because I usually has spoons for making area to sew in or spoons for sewing, and it something I do so rarely that, having a dedicated sewing space is not an option... I recently noticed that there is an open for public sewing studio, connected to not my closest library but the one next closest to where I live... a bit like borrow a public computer at your library... not at the library but the public center the library is in I just think of it as at the library... okey I'm definitely over explaining... I think where I am in my life even though I have a really good machine packed away, it will probably make me actually, sewing if I take my project over there... which is nice.... Must ad my dyslexia, kinda messing with me so what I read this channels name to be is "Peggy Swags" Probably because I heard about this channel from the Sassy Dragon Tarot which is definitely one of the most perfect decks I have seen. So thanks for creating them, because as you said the Classic is fun too...

sorry I missed this. Dolores Cannon is totally fascinating. I've read several of her books, and her video lectures are great too! Just finished a book by another author called "Mimics" about shapeshifting or mental masking ultradimensionals that are currently coexisting with us on Earth.

I'm sorry to miss the live but glad I could do some latenight sewing with you!! That's exciting news about Sassy Dragons and I find it hilarious that it led to turning the tabard into a bib, lol. A project I've been wanting to FAFO is a bag or pouch specifically sized to hold some folded reusable bags so they aren't strewn about and I remember to take them into shops with me.

I didnt end up sewing a shopping bag 😢 I ran out of time, but I definately want to try doing a bag like the 'its too peoplely' bag but unsure how to do the bottom ... meaning the wide purple bum on it. "Unkink the hose" 😂😂😂😂
@peggysews8 ай бұрын
The wide purple on the bottom is easy enough. You just add a piece of a different color and line it up in the middle. The the rest of the look happens automatically when you finish and box the bottoms.
@nanniibee8 ай бұрын
@peggysews Im so sorry for the questions 😔 is the purple peice just one layer of fabric not layered/sandwiched like the rest? And the middle ... did you mean the middle seam in the bottom. OMG I must sound so stupid 🫣
@peggysews8 ай бұрын
I used a slightly different technique to make the bigger bags than I did for the little giveaway bag. I used one large piece of fabric instead of 2 smaller ones. There was no need to connect two blocks so that seam isn't there. I just used one big one. I cut the peopley fabric in half and added the purple to the middle. then it went together just like the little sample bag I did and the bottom dropped into place on it's own.
@elineeugenie52248 ай бұрын
I love all the bags. Sorry to hear about your leg... I know! I'm doing a tarot holiday bag in crochet with my handspun yarns, from both my spinning wheels which is nice and a lot of fun to do 😊😊
@peggysews8 ай бұрын
meh leg is something I'm used to, so it's just a short term pity party that ends soon enough. I love seeing crochet bags. I wish I had the patience and the skill for it.
