HI Peggy, I am so glad YT popped your video into my feed. I am a brand new quilter and just starting with making a quilt for a kiddo in the family. Sharing your tips as you go is immensely helpful! Not gonna lie, it made me nervous too. I've only ever seen that kind of sewing on clothes and I suck as clothing. But it got easier as I went along and once it was all ironed out and the blocks trimmed, they looked great.
