Very nice as usual, thank you… Would you sell your XF 150-600 and get the GF500 mm if you already have the GFX body ? I have 150-600 & XF200 and love the 200mm. 150-600 has good reach but IQ is not the same level.

Thank you very much! I am not too sure, I think I would sell it all and get the 200mm as that is my favourite! - i love a wide aperture. I was tempted to swap my 150-600mm for the new XF500mm I haven’t had a chance yet. I also don’t own the GFX series stuff, just borrowed it for some time to test out, I did love it but it is just a little bit too expensive for me 🙂

Hi, i just got a DJI Neo and that really fun to get into drones but just found out before i saw your video that the DJI Mini 4 Pro can fly at night unlike most drones. It would be great to see you get some footage at night as well as day.

Great video. Really impressive first flight. I have just received my Mini 4 Pro and due to the weather and the fact I live in central London it’ll be a little while before I brave the test flight. It’s great to see the breadth of styles of photography/videography captured with this device. I shoot beauty/fashion commercially and my end goal is add a different dimension to the shoots. Good luck and I’ll definitely subscribe. @jeff.leyshon

I think you are a drone natural. Great flights! Nice easy turns. Great videography. I understand the negativity some folks have with drones. I try to fly where I am not around a lot of people for that reason. I love the Autumn colors there. Beautiful. Check out my channel for a flight over colorful Aspens in New Mexico and Colorado. I have subscribed. Keep the drone videos coming!

Don’t forget your camera, use both…..but the drone can get amazing pictures that your camera can’t get

I will never forget my camera! Or do you mean specifically the drone camera? Then yes that as well! This was my first flight so just getting used to the controls but you will see in later vlogs I use the camera a lot too 🙂🙂

Absolutely loved the content, brilliant for a first time flier. I bought the same drone just last week and I’m excited and nervous at the same time about flying for the first time. I know my weakness will be editing, so I’m hoping that you might include some insight into how you edit your drone footage in some future videos

I loved your video of your new drone and a very good choice for your first one. Welcome to the club. I did notice a couple of things that might be of interest to you going forward. Firstly it is recommended to remove the gimbal cover before powering up any drone and this is to prevent the gimbal getting stuck or damaged. The second thing is, you might want to consider a landing mat for some of the locations you are in. This will prevent debris from getting into the drone when landing and taking off. Keep up the good work.

I do actually, i forgot the area that I was flying in is notoriously bad for signal in general. I am thinking because it is in a valley with trees - double wammy of blocking the signal from the satellites. It’s the only thing I can think of 🙂

Aerial videography & photography as well now, eh? I see you also express an interest in adding underwater to your portfolio, which is what I gravitated towards nearly 50 years ago. After viewing the underwater scenery in the Bahamas in 1972 while snorkelling, I resolved to learn to scuba dive on my return to the UK, starting out with Hi-8 cine in an u/w housing, thence to video in an expensive housing, video lights and all & now learning about videoing on my smartphone in an affordable Divevolk housing (Google the company for more info). Saw the benefits of camera drone videography, buying my 1st in 2016 but now I have 4 drones no less, including the DJI Mini 3 Pro which I find useful to capture aerial scenery in places like New Guinea, capturing jungle covered mountainsides tumbling down to beaches of silver sands fringing crystal clear, coral reef tropical waters. If you desire to learn scuba check out the British Sub-Aqua Club (BSAC) which will point you towards your local branch where you can learn at a leisurely pace over weeks or months in the safety of a swimming pool at a reasonable price. Photographer/videographer, on land & underwater, plus aerial too? For me at, 80 years old, the best is all behind me but the sights I’ve seen & captured were priceless. At your age give it a go and then the world will truly be your oyster!

Great video. Enjoyed it. That 55mm 1.7 is a monster lens. Has the bokeh of my Nikon 50mm 1.2. Sharp as a razor too. Glad you enjoyed it. Im fortunate to own a gfx 100ii and the Hasselblad x2d. Greets from Ireland 👍🏻

Again, as in my previous comment, I feel you would make Fuji a premiere ambassador and they would be insane not to provide you with everything you need. Frankly, I think you deserve and could produce your own BBC series on "personal" wildlife and travel photography. I've been a professional artist, filmmaker and photographer for many decades and you capture within your personality and YT production, the feel, depth and real human value of the process of photography and movie making in the real world and the ways that interaction with life can awaken connection and creativity. Thanks for sharing the good energy.

This is such a lovely comment and I was very touched reading this - I had a very big smile on my face. I love this idea of a BBC series on personal wildlife and travel photography, I think that would be a lovely idea - I don't know how I could make it happen but it does sound great. That last bit is a massive compliment coming from a professional, I guess it is just something I really love and care about. I am not trying to sell anything or do this for numbers, it is just something I genuinely love and enjoy sharing with folk like yourself. So thank you very much for leaving such a touching comment, I appreciate it a lot ☺️

Good for you Victoria, the aerial boundaries are unlimited. I've been a pilot and photographer for 7 years and going from the Phantom 4 Pro to the Mini 4 Pro and it is the best drone for any level. It is the most exciting photography and video tool and when you gain confidence wait till you fly along rivers and waterfalls. Looking forward to your new drone adventures.
