How tragically sad. "R.I.P. Invinsible Titans of the Unsinkable Titanic"!
@user-sv1gh2mr4nАй бұрын
This is a better documentary than most Titanic stories because it did not emphasize the passengers' material possessions, only the gut level horror and tragedy of it all. Man's pride, arrogance, greed, discrimination against classes were mostly the reasons for this tragedy. And naming it Titanic, an evil word! God showed that He was more powerful with His iceberg and ocean. How dare people had said that not even God could sink the ship!

“Testimonies” and “histories” in the same sentence? “Testimony” and “history” will suffice.

Man, all that effort put into the video to have the music drown everything out when it plays.

I was just wondering something. They claim that the reason the life boats didn't rescue more people on the titanic was because they were afraid of being swamped. Why the hell didn't they transfer people from partial lifeboats to other partial life boats and send the empty ones to where all the people were drowning?

Music is drowning out the narrator.. prob would have been a great watch if I could hear it

This was absolutely fascinating and touching to see. I’m not sure why but that chandelier hanging really got me. It’s amazing how there are still pieces of her so intact! Great job on this beautiful tribute to those who perished that fateful night ❤

What would happen if titanic had a big enough hole after hitting the iceberg cause the titanic turn upside down just after 30 minutes hitting the iceberg, then floating capsid for 60 minutes and then sink? How many of those passages will survive that night? How the history of titanic would be today to talk about that night?

Man i wish they could find the car! But, assume it must be in the lower stern area. The one place I guess they can't go. Oh well, maybe one day.

11:33 frank Prentice was 18 when he served on titanic, that would put his birth year as 1894 not 1889...and he did die in 1982...there's a documentary called titanic a question of murder. in that the narrator says that Frank was 18 when Titanic sank. so he was born in 1894...the interview at this time stamp is from the doc I just mentioned the piano at the end is beautiful...who plays it? 44:00 holay the sound effects u have here are fukin scary that breaking sound the screams damn I don't know how ppl say it broke and some didn't. it must of broke just below the surface and what they heard as the boilers "exploding" was the ship breaking in two?

Just thinking outside of the box,maybe it was the wrongdoing and the division of the three classes that caused this ship to go down. You can’t put out bad energy and mistreat people without some type of misfortune happening to you. They didn’t even notify the third class passengers which is just completely wrong in my book.

Thank you, this is possibly the best video I’ve seen on the topic. Incorporating real footage and photos from the wreck and survivor accounts has been magic. Always love listening to Frank Prentice’s account. Never keen on Lightoller, because he wasted many opportunities to save people, by sending the boats away nowhere near full. Looking forward to Episode 2

titanic a question of murder which came out in 1983 says Frank Prentice was 18 years old when Titanic sank. he joined the titanics crew in Southampton so he was born in 1894. the parts of him talking here in the background is what he said in the above doc. I mentioned....also it's been said 705 survived and over 1522 who died give or take 1 or 2 I suppose. everywhere u hear or read 1500 died. anyhow this was still great

I don’t know why in all titanic documentaries you all have to play miserable depressing music.. it’s so miserable that it’s impossible to enjoy and engage with the content. I can understand parts like the sinking the music be sombre is appropriate.. but on it’s journey before tragedy.. it’s either horrifically, horrible Irish pipe music or that bloody terrible misery of a song the heart of the Ocean..the titanic was the ship of dreams. And for it’s time it’s was a technological Marvel.. I can not for the life of me know why every titanic documentary maker can not have a healthy balance of the tragic and the magic thst was an still is titanic..why in parts you could not have the music adventures especially in the beginning before the ice burg.. and when featuring the wreck why is the music not magical and exciting..you should feel this when the bow of the wreck appears out of the darkness it’s should be triumphant and dramatic.. shes been found and still exists in amazing condition in her interiors.. what you can see is amazingly wonderfully preserved. The music should reflect that feel.. not of despair and misery with derry depressing music..I did not enjoy this because of this horrible music.. I’m just so sick of depressing titanic documentaries because everyone focuses on the misery and that’s how you feel when you watch.. miserable.. can she not be celebrated and appreciated for being one of the largest floating technological triumph for her time.

Titanic's radio was actually a newer design, and instead of the "buzz-buzz-buzz" typical of the other ships, it had a "beep-beep-beep" that helped Titanic's voice be heard above the other ship's voices.

Something new (for me) ive come across recently is did Titanic have a 4 blade central propeller, i was surprised to findout theres no, or very few, photographs of Titanic under construction showing this, so putting out the feelers if anyone can direct me to anything factual and conclusive to come to a consensus on this.
